41st Annual Kevin Williams Christmas Classic

The Kevin Williams Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament, the Shore’s Premier Holiday Tradition Continues into its 41st year in 2025

The highly anticipated 41st annual Kevin Willliams Christmas Classic, presented by Community Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, will take place from December 26-30 at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena at Toms River High School North. This premier basketball event will feature 16 boys’ and 16 girls’ high school teams from Ocean and Monmouth counties, making it one of the highlights of the winter sports season.

New to this year’s program will be a Girls Showcase featuring St. Rose vs Rutgers Prep & Red Bank Catholic vs Teaneck on the 27th & 29th.

All 32 teams will begin their journey on Friday, December 26, with first-round games held in either the main arena or the recently dedicated Ray Cervino Gym across the hall. Games will tip off at 9:00am in both facilities, with action running for 12-13 hours in what promises to be a thrilling day of basketball.

The tournament’s 32 coaches will meet on Sunday 12/14  at The Office Restaurant & Lounge in Toms River. During this breakfast gathering, the teams will be seeded as follows:

• The top eight boys’ teams will compete in the Jim Ruhnke Bracket,
  while seeds 9-16 will play in the Steve Gepp Bracket.
• On the girls’ side, the top eight teams will be placed in the Ray Cervino Bracket,
  with seeds 9-16 in the Kathy Snyder Bracket.

Get ready for an action-packed week of basketball as the best teams from Ocean and Monmouth counties compete for the coveted Kevin Williams Christmas Classic titles!
