Ewing 66, Shore 44

Senior guard Lillie Alston scored 21 points and sophomore guard Analis Maldonado added a 13-point and 12-rebound double-double as the Blue Devils (3-0) of Ewing cruised past the Blue Devils (1-1) of Shore.

Senior guard Ava Coyle knocked down three three-pointers on her way to a team-high 14 points in the loss. Freshman guard Emily Coyle knocked down three three-pointers of her own on her way to 13 points.

At Colts Neck High School

No. 2 St. John Vianney 76, Arts 45

Senior guard Madison Kocis finished with a 17-point and 13-rebound double-double as the Lancers (1-0) routed the Jaguars (1-1). Senior forward Stella Lockhart added 15 points and six rebounds. Senior center Taylor Sofilkanich had 13 points and four blocks. Junior forward Tatum Sharpe chipped in eight points and three steals.

Sayreville 46, Freehold Boro 36

The Colonials (1-1) fell behind 29-13 at halftime and could never regain their footing in a loss to the Bombers (2-1). Junior Avery Wyatt and freshman Mackenzie Sims each scored six points in the loss.

Matawan 40, Rahway 30

Jackson 62, Freehold Township 45

Senior Isabella Finer exploded for 25 points to lead the Jaguars (3-0) past the Patriots (0-3). Finer knocked down a three pointer and finished 10-for-13 from the free throw line. Senior Julianna Old finished with 14 points. Senior Kaylee Ambos added 11 points which included three three-pointers.

Senior guard Madison Sciarrino scored a team-high 18 points in the loss.

Southern 43, Donovan Catholic 28

Freshman Mia Pratola scored a team-high 10 points, grabbed four rebounds, and came away with three steals as the Rams (2-1) defeated the Griffins (0-2). Sophomore Mackenzie Sininsky added nine points and eight rebounds. Freshman Mikayla Blahut chipped in seven points and pulled down six rebounds.

Junior forward Sarah Franks scored a game-high 11 points in the loss.

Marlboro 44, Toms River North 35

Sophomore Mackenzie Klatsky scored a game-high 14 points and junior guard Maddyn Callow added 10 points as the Mustangs (3-0) held off the Mariners (0-3). Freshman forward Taylor Pollifrone added 9 points.

Senior guard Cara Sarluca scored 14 points and freshman guard Montanna Knoeller added 10 points in the loss.

No. 4 Red Bank 46, Point Boro 19

Senior guard Synai Blychanton scored a game-high 12 points and senior guard Riley Wheeler added 10 points as the Bucs (3-0) routed the Panthers (1-1). Senior guard Riley Joyce and junior forward Ava Furlong each chipped in 6 points.

Sophomore guard Taylor Lappke scored a team-high 10 points in the loss.

Manville 49, Keyport 2

Piscataway Magnet 43, Henry Hudson 39

A furious fourth quarter rally fell short as the Admirals (0-2) fought but came up short against the Raiders (4-0). Henry Hudson trailed 33-20 heading into the fourth quarter before they rallied. Piscataway Magnet knocked down 10 three pointers with freshman Alivia Tucker converting on three of them on her way to a game-high 14 points.

Sophomore Leah Curry and freshman Molly Hensle each scored 11 points in the loss.

Bayonne 43, No. 6 St. Rose 41

Senior guard Tatyanna Watson scored 14 points and freshman guard Sophia Feeney added 11 points as the Queen Bees (3-0) defeated the Purple Roses (0-2).

Senior guard Brooke Missry knocked down four three-pointers and scored a game-high 15 points in the loss. Sophomore forward Brielynn Cooper added 9 points.

Lower Cape May 47, Barnegat 36

Freshman forward Avery Hansen scored a team-high 14 points as the Tigers (1-0) used a second quarter surge to top the Bengals (2-2). Barnegat led 10-4 at the end of the first quarter but were outscored 17-3 in the second quarter and 18-7 in the third quarter.

Sophomore Elayna Ordonez poured in a game-high 21 points in the loss.
