Freshman guard Peyton Clark scored a team-high 15 points to lead the Purple Roses (2-7, 1-2) past the Bucs (6-4, 0-3). Junior guard Callie Decker finished with 14 points. Senior guard Brooke Missry added nine points. Junior guard Brooke Jaenicke chipped in eight points.

Senior guard Zoe Gulley knocked down four three-pointers and finished with a game-high 18 points in the loss. Senior guard Synai Blychanton added 16 points.

No. 1 Red Bank Catholic 72, No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 35

Senior forward Addy Nyemchek knocked down three three-pointers on her way to a game-high 26 points as the Caseys (10-1, 3-0) pulled away from the Bulldogs (10-2, 1-2). The Caseys led 38-26 at the half before outscoring the Bulldogs 23-2 in the third quarter. Senior guard Katie Liggio added nine points. Senior center Scarlet LeVake finished with eight points. Senior guard Lola Giordano and freshman Sumaiyah Lashley each chipped in six points.

Senior Erin Reid scored a team-high 20 points in the loss.

No. 2 St. John Vianney 71, No. 3 Manasquan 45

Senior center Taylor Sofilkanich scored a game-high 14 points to lead a balanced scoring effort as the Lancers (10-1, 2-1) handed the Warriors (11-1, 2-1) their first loss of the season. Sophomore guard Gianna Sano added 12 points. Sophomore guard Antonia Jackson knocked down three three-pointers and finished with 11 points. Senior forward Stella Lockhart added 10 points. Senior guard Madison Kocis and junior guard Elisabeth Lyons each chipped in eight points.

Senior guard Shannon Looney scored a team-high 11 points in the loss. Senior guard Jordyn Hollawell added seven points. Sophomore guard Calista Vowteras chipped in six points.

Class A Central

Middletown North 48, Ocean 31

Senior Danielle Gonzalez erupted for a career-high 28 points to lead the Lions (2-8, 2-1) past the Spartans (7-4, 0-3). Junior guard Kaelyn Gibson added 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Sophomore forward Emma Burke scored a team-high 17 points in the loss.

No. 8 Neptune 52, Freehold Township 40

Junior guard Lana Ellington scored a game-high 16 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead the Scarlet Fliers (6-0, 3-0) past the Patriots (4-7, 2-1). Senior guard Majiah Quarles added 14 points. Sophomore center Bryanna Edgerson added 13 points, six rebounds, and two blocks. Sophomore forward Tyeera Howard chipped in seven points to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Sophomore Shiloh Harris knocked down three three-pointers and finished with a team-high 15 points. Senior Madison Sciarrino added eight points.

No. 9 Toms River East 50, Manchester 34

Junior Kacey Briles knocked down five three-pointers and racked up a game-high 21 points as the Raiders (6-3, 2-0) topped the Hawks (3-6, 1-2). Junior Libby Dickman added 10 points. Junior Kylie Paladino chipped in seven points.

Sophomore guard Jesse Sarana converted on five three-pointers and finished with a team-high 19 points in the loss. Junior guard Madeline Nolan added 10 points.

Class B North

No. 10 Howell 62, Ranney 38

Senior guard Whitney Hobson scored a game-high 15 points as the Monarchs (10-2, 3-0) shut down the Crimson Knights (3-6, 0-3). Senior guard Bridget Rigney added 11 points. Senior forward Grace Feeney knocked down three three-pointers and finished with 11 points. Junior guard O’Malley Eldridge chipped in seven points.

Junior Erin McBarron scored a team-high 11 points in the loss.

Sophomores Allison McAndrew and Julianna Jasina each scored 14 points as the Cougars (9-2, 3-0) defeated the Hornets (4-6, 1-2).

Freshman forward Sydney Tilton netted a game-high 18 points as the Blue Devils (5-6, 2-1) defeated the Green Wave (2-8, 0-3). Freshman guard Emily Coyle finished with eight points. Senior guard Ava Coyle added seven points. Sophomore guard Scarlett Watson chipped in six points.

Junior Layla Bland scored a team-high eight points in the loss.

Marlboro 51, Monmouth 19

Junior guard Maddyn Callow scored a game-high 18 points as the Mustangs (6-5, 3-0) shut down the Falcons (3-6, 0-3). Sophomore guard Mackenzie Klatsky added 14 points.

Matawan 58, Asbury Park 14

Freshman Lily Wilson scored a game-high 15 points as the Huskies (6-3, 3-0) cruised past the Blue Bishops (0-6, 0-2). Senior guard Emma Kriegstein added 10 points. Freshman Leilanee Ong chipped in nine points.

Keansburg 52, Henry Hudson 20

Senior Gabriella Flanzbaum scored a game-high 17 points as the Titans (8-0, 2-0) continued their unbeaten start against the Admirals (2-8, 1-2). Junior Gianna Bettinger and senior Princess Graves each added 16 points.
