Junior attackman Luke Lydon posted three goals and one assist and freshman midfielder Liam Haggerty scored twice as the Bulldogs built a six-goal lead after three quarters and held off a late charge by the Rams to earn a hard-fought division victory.
Rumson (6-5, 3-2) led 3-0 after the first quarter, 5-1 at halftime, and 9-3 heading to the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs scored three goals in the final minute of the third quarter with Lydon, senior FOGO Rory Keane, and junior midfielder Joseph Whitehouse finding the back of the net to stretch the lead to 9-6.
Senior midfielder Grayson Goldin, freshman attackman Teddy Whitehouse, senior midfielder Britt Lumsden, and junior attackman Blake Ahmann also scored one goal apiece for Rumson. Sophomore goalie Peter Kessler finished with eight saves.
Senior midfielder Joe Kessler and senior attackman Liam Griffin each scored twice for Southern (4-3, 1-3). Sophomore midfielder Kyle Sininsky had a goal and an assist while sophomore LSM Lucas Iorio and sophomore attackmen Cash McVey and Shea O’Donnell each scored once. Senior FOGO Collin Markoski had a strong day, unofficially winning over 75 percent at the X.

Barnegat 22, Point Boro 11
Junior midfielder Keagen Dunn erupted for a career-high nine goals and 11 points for an unstoppable Bengals offense that doubled up the Panthers on Monday morning in Barnegat.
Barengat (7-1) scored seven goals in the first quarter and again in the third quarter, building a 12-6 lead at halftime and a 19-10 lead heading to the fourth quarter. Senior midfielder Luke Tortorici added to his program-record points total with six goals and three assists to move up to 183 career points.
Senior Jakob Jason had a career-high seven points with three goals and four assists to reach 100 points for his career. Senior midfielder Stephen Griffin tallied two goals and two assists, senior attackman Jason McHale had a goal and three assists, and senior Bailey Carroll scored once.
Senior attackman Brady Kirk scored six goals and distributed three assists to lead Point Boro (5-2). Sophomore midfielder Blake Engelken scored once and went 22-for-30 on face-offs to set the Panthers’ program record for face-off wins in a game. Sophomore Matt Prendeville and senior Jason Piemonte each scored twice and junior goalie Jack Watson made 10 saves.
Red Bank Catholic 11, Colts Neck 7
Sophomore midfielder Joe Egan scored four goals and assisted on another and freshman goalie Wyatt Curley made 15 saves to lead the Caseys past the Cougars for their first win of the season.
Sophomore midfielder Jake Bickerton and freshman midfielder Ashton Torregrossa each registered two goals and one assist for RBC (1-9). Senior middie Joe Palmer had a goal and an assist while sophomore attackman Logan Josko and sophomore middie Jack Denver each scored once. The Caseys led 6-3 at halftime and 9-4 heading to the fourth quarter.
Colts Neck dropped to 1-7 with the loss.
