Nondivisional

Red Bank 13, Middletown South 6

Junior attackman Gabe Pape sank five goals and assisted on three more to power the Bucs (4-4) to a win over the Eagles (4-4).

Sophomore Justin Valentino tallied two goals and three assists and freshman MJ Keating continued his strong debut season with two goals and one assist. Senior Jack Tavares and junior Nathan Pelensky each scored once. Juniors Owen Montgomery (5 saves) and Michael Eisenbraun (3 saves) split time in goal.

 

Nonconference

Manhasset (NY) 10, Rumson-Fair Haven 7

Junior attackmen Luke Lydon and Blake Ahmann each scored twice for the Bulldogs (5-5), who dropped a home nonconference game to Long Island’s Manhasset (6-3). Senior midfielders Grayson Goldin and Britt Lumsden and senior defenseman Frank Argilagos had one goal apiece.

Neither team had a lead of greater than two goals until the Indians scored their 10th goal with 1:25 to play. It was tied 3-3 after ther first quarter. Manhasset led 5-4 at halftime and 8-6 heading to the fourth quarter.

Sophomore attackman Marco Petruccelli scored a game-high four goals for Manhasset.

 

Middletown North 8, Old Bridge 6

 

New Canaan (CT) 8, CBA 4

Freshman attackman Jackson Chaney scored three goals and assisted on a goal by senior attackman Carter McGuire in the Colts’ loss to the Rams (6-0), who are ranked No. 21 in the nation by Inside Lacrosse.
