American Division

Manasquan 8, CBA 7 (OT)

Junior midfielder Lucas Longo scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left in the first overtime period to give the Warriors (11-0, 6-0) a dramatic win over the Colts (8-5, 3-1).

CBA led 5-3 after a goal by Christian Fox in the third quarter before Manasquan scored four goals in the final four minutes to take a 7-5 lead going to the fourth quarter. CBA tied the game at seven on goals by Davis Campbell and Danny Varone at 4:24 and 2:44, respectively, of the fourth quarter.

 

Colonial Division

Howell 15, Red Bank Catholic 3

Junior midfielder Cole Reinsdorf scored 4 goals, senior attackman Jayden Devino distributed a career-high 6 assists, and senior goalie Adam Baker turned back 10 shots as the Rebels (8-1, 5-1) rolled past the Caseys (1-11, 0-5). Junior attackman Mike Kelly recorded a hat trick. Senior midfielder Nicholas Turturro scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists while senior midfielder Vin Meehan scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist. Senior midfielder Jack Elias scored his first career goal and tallied 2 assists. Senior defenseman Colin Finnegan, junior attackman Travis Kimball, and sophomore defenseman Anthony Pesina each scored a goal.

Sophomore midfielder Joe Egan scored all 3 goals in the loss for the Caseys.

 

Toms River East 13, Middletown South 3

Sophomore attackman Gerard Uzzolino scored 4 goals and distributed 3 assists while junior attackman Nicholas Caruso added 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the Raiders (7-1, 5-0) past the Eagles (5-5, 4-2). Junior midfielder Austin Weber scored 2 goals while senior midfielder Nate Cummings tallied 3 assists. Senior midfielder Tyler Godlesky scored a goal and assist while senior Ethan Kelly, junior Riley Weber, and freshman Tyler Mendes each scored a goal.

Junior Luke Gaffney scored 2 goals in the loss for the Eagles. Senior Leo Abate added 1 goal while juniors Jackson O’Keefe and senior Danny Lawrence both tallied an assist.

Barnegat 19, St. John Vianney 3

Three players scored 4 goals as the Bengals (9-1, 5-0) raced past the Lancers (2-7, 1-5) to remain unbeaten in divisional play. Junior midfielder Keegan Dunn scored 4 goals and tallied 4 assists. Senior Jakob Jason scored 4 goals and tallied 3 assists. Senior Luke Tortorici scored 4 goals and tallied 2 assists. Senior Jason Mchale added 2 goals and an assist. Senior Bailey Carroll scored a goal and tallied 3 assists. Senior Jamison Prince scored his first goal of the season in addition to tallying an assist. Junior Cedryk Diola scored the first goal of his career and distributed an assist. Juniors Leonardo Chamorro and Eric Connors both scored a goal.

Senior Brendan Allen scored 2 goals in the loss for the Lancers. Sophomore Owen Horan scored his first career goal. Sophomore Logan Merrifield tallied an assist.

 

Colts Neck 10, Toms River South 6

Senior Jayden Molina recorded a hat trick and tallied 2 assists to guide the Cougars (2-8, 2-4) past the Indians (2-7, 1-4). Senior Tyler Bowden and freshman Gavin Manassao scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist while freshman Noah Milewski scored 2 goals. Junior Christian Casatelli also scored a goal while sophomore James Scully distributed 2 assists and senior Ryan Siedenburg tallied his first career assist.

 

Freedom Division

Toms River North 11, Marlboro 8

Senior midfielder Ben Misa matched his career-high with 4 goals to help the Mariners (5-4, 4-0) defeat the Mustangs (6-3, 4-1) in a battle of unbeaten teams within the division. Senior midfielders Anthony Montalban and Robert Wingender each recorded a hat trick. Junior Patrick Hirtes tallied a team-high 3 assists while senior Cooper Lachowicz and junior Michael Facchinni each tallied 2 assists. Junior Alex Pudowkin also scored a goal. Senior goalie Charlie Machamer recorded 9 saves in the win for the Mariners.

 

Nonconference

Mainland 12, Red Bank 9

The Bucs (4-6) lost a tough one to the Mustangs (7-3) out of the Cape Atlantic League in South Jersey. Sophomore Justin Valentino scored 3 goals and tallied 3 assists in the loss. Junior Gabe Pape added 3 goals. Freshman MJ Keating scored 2 goals and distributed an assist. Senior Jack Tavares sank one shot and tallied an assist. Junior goalie Owen Montgomery stopped 11 shots.

 

New Canaan (CT) 16, Rumson-Fair Haven 5

The Bulldogs (8-6) fell to the Rams (7-1), a perennial national power currently ranked 19th in the country by Inside Lacrosse. Junior Blake Ahmann and freshman Kevin Collard each scored 2 goals in the loss for the Bulldogs. Junior Joseph Whitehouse also added a goal.
