St. John Vianney (1-2) earned their first win of the season over Long Branch (0-4) behind a career-high 11 points from Senior Brendan Allen. Allen finished with 5 goals and 6 assists. Sophomore Ethan Hunter notched a career-high 4 goals along with 1 assist. Senior Kyle Dimarco scored a career-high 3 goals and 4 assists. Senior Anthony Marano added 2 goals while Senior Blake Hawthorn scored 1 goal and 2 assists and Sophomore Daniel Rodman scored 1 goal and 1 assist in the win for the Lancers.

Moorestown 9, No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 8 (OT)

Rumson-Fair Haven (3-1) suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Moorestown (2-0). Junioro Blake Ahmann scored a team-high 3 goals. Five other Bulldogs scored 1 goal including Senior Grayson Goldin, Junior Joseph Whitehouse, Freshman Liam Haggerty, Junior Luke Lydon, and Senior Britt Lumsden. Lydon tallied 2 assists while Goldin and Lumsden each recorded 1 assist. Senior goalie Peter Kessler recorded 5 saves in the loss for the Bulldogs.

 

No. 2 Manasquan 15, Notre Dame 7

A career-high scoring day for Senior Brandon Kunz lifted Manasquan (4-0) past Notre Dame (1-2). Kunz finished with 6 goals and 1 assist. Senior Ryan Aldi and Matt Schneider each had a hat trick. Aldi finished with 3 goals and 1 assist while Schneider finished with 3 goals and 2 assists. Junior Lucas Longo scored 2 goals and tallied 3 assists. Sophomore Kieran Schneider scored 1 goal and tallied 3 assists. Senior Parker Harms tallied 3 assists while Senior James Caddott and Sophomore Dax Klein each tallied 1 assist. Senior Pat Loxley recorded 14 saves in the win for the Warriors.

 

No. 5 Shore 10, East Brunswick 2

Junior John Mazzacco’s career-high 3 goals and 1 assist helped lead Shore (2-2) to a strong win over East Brunswick (2-1). Junior Reid Spallone scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists while Senior Lukas Villa scored 2 goals. Junior Jack Madalone scored 1 goal and tallied 2 assists. Senior Tucker Malfa added 1 goal and 1 assist while Senior Braden Miller added 1 goal.

 

Central 10, Vineland 3

Four goal performances from Senior Brian Vannote and Jake Agugliaro guided Central (3-0) past Vineland (1-5). Vannote scored 4 goals and tallied 2 assists while Agugliaro scored 4 goals and added 1 assist. Senior Thomas Rotella scored 1 goal and tallied 3 assists while Sophomore Tucker Powderly added 1 goal and Senior Matthew Denman tallied 3 assists. Senior goalie Brady Etzkorn recorded 7 saves while Freshman goalie Colby Etzkorn recorded 5 saves in the win for the Golden Eagles.

 

Iona Prep (NY) 7, No. 3 CBA 1

CBA (2-3) fell to New York power Iona Prep (2-1) for their third loss of the season. Freshman Jackson Chaney scored the lone goal in the loss for the Colts.

 

Howell 5, Cranford 2

A stifling defensive performance gave Howell (2-1) a strong non-conference win over Cranford (1-2). Seniors Vincent Meehan and Nicholas Turturro each scored 2 goals while Junior Mike Kelly scored 1 goal and Senior Jayden Devino tallied 1 assist. Senior goalie Adam Baker recorded 4 saves in the win for the Rebels.
