No. 2 Manasquan 12, No. 5 Shore 7
Senior attackman Brandon Kunz sank four goals and dished out three assists, senior attackman Ryan Aldi delivered a hat trick, and senior goalie Pat Loxley made 13 saves as the Warriors (3-0, 1-0) held off the Blue Devils (1-2, 0-1) to win their division opener.
The game was tied 3-3 late in the first half before Manasquan scored four goals in under a minute to take a 7-4 lead into the break. The Warriors led 8-5 heading to the fourth quarter where they scored four times to put the game away.
Senior midfielder Matt Schneider added two goals and one assist, sophomore midfielder Dax Klein registered a goal and an assist, and junior midfielder Lucas Longo scored once. Junior Will Conway added his first varsity goal.
Senior midfielder Lukas Villa and junior attackmen Jack Madalone and Reid Spallone each scored twice for Shore. Senior midfielder Tucker Malfa scored once, senior attackman Braden Miller had two assists, and sophomore goalie Joey Longo made 10 saves.
No. 3 CBA 12, No. 4 Holmdel 2
Junior attackman Caden Lucich scored three times and assisted on three more, and senior attackman Carter McGuire had a goal and four assists as the Colts (2-2, 1-0) started fast and put away the Hornets (2-1, 0-1) to even their record and win their division opener.
CBA led 4-0 after the first quarter, 7-1 at halftime, and 12-1 entering the fourth quarter. The Colts held a 32-16 shots advantage.
Freshman attackman Jackson Chaney contained his strong start with a goal and three assists while sophomore attackman Turner Cooke tallied two goals and one assist, senior midfielder Davis Campbell scored twice, and freshman midfielder Daniel Varone registered a goal and an assist. Freshman attackman Anthony Lembo scored his first career goal and Harvard-bound senior defenseman Quinn Kelly scored his second of the season and 26th of his career.
Junior Shayne Boresen got the start in goal and made seven saves to earn the win. Senior Luke Phillips played the second half and made six saves.
Freshman midfielder Anthony Serini and sophomore midfielder Ryan Pescatore each scored once and junior goalie Jack Tiller made six saves for Holmdel.
No. 7 Wall 18, No. 8 Red Bank 8
Senior midfielder Michael Hoarle, senior attackman Jackson Lemongelli, and junior attackman Wyatt Capro combined for 13 goals and 20 points as the Crimson Knights (1-1, 1-0) surged past the Bucs (0-2, 0-2) for their first win of the season.
Hoarle posted career highs in goals (4), assists (5), and points (9) to lead all players while Capro scored a team-high five goals and Lemongelli tallied four goals and two assists. Owen Moore added two goals and two assists, Patrick Freud had a goal and an assist, and sophomore attackman Thomas Dollive scored his first varsity goal. Junior Dylan Cohen went 10-for-15 on face-0ffs and scored a goal and senior LSM James Byrnes recorded his first varsity point with an assist. In goal, senior Braeden Buckley got the start and made nine saves before sophomore Ethan Buckley took over and made three saves.

No. 10 Toms River East 10, Howell 7
Senior midfielder Nate Cummings reached the 100-career-goal milestone with two goals and three assists to help lead the Raiders (1-1, 1-0) past the Rebels (1-1, 0-1) in what figures to be the first of many tight games between contenders in the Colonial Division.
The Raiders led 5-4 at halftime.
Junior attackman Nicholas Caruso scored a team-high three goals and sophomore attackman Gerard Uzzolino had two goals and two assists. Senior midfielder Ethan Kelly posted a goal and an assist while junior attackman Riley Weber and junior midfielder Austin Weber each scored their first varsity goal. Senior middie Tyler Godlesky chipped in with two assists.
Junior midfielder Cole Reinsdorf scored three times and senior midfielder Vincent Meehan had a goal and two assists to lead Howell. Senior goalie Adam Baker made 10 saves, senior midfielder Nick Turturro had a goal and an assist, and junior midfielder Alexzander Mooneyhan and junior attackman Mike Kelly each scored once.

Junior Luke Gaffney scored a career-high six goals and sophomore Ryan Colacichi scored a career-high five goals and added one assist as the Eagles (1-1, 1-0) rolled to a victory over the Panthers (1-1, 0-1).
Senior Joe Sarci delivered two goals and two assists, senior Leo Abate had two goals and one assist, and junior Jackson O’Keefe also scored twice. Senior goalie Matt Mason made 11 saves and senior Ian McQuillian dished out two assists in addition to winning 14 of 24 at the face-off X.
Senior attackman Brady Kirk led Point Boro with four goals and one assist. Senior midfielder Jason Piemonte notched a hat trick and junior midfielder Connor Trapanese scored twice.
Constitution Division
Barnegat 13, Lacey 5
Senior midfielder Bailey Carroll scored a career-high five goals and junior Connor Maloney delivered three goals and two assists to lead the Bengals (1-0, 1-0) to a season-opening victory over the Lions (1-2, 0-1).
Junior Keegan Dunn scored twice, senior attackman Jason McHale and junior Codey Shaffery had a goal and an assist each, and junior Leonardo Chamorro scored once.
Brick Memorial 16, St. John Vianney 4
Junior attackman Nick Correia scored a career-high six goals and added three assists and senior goalie Matt Hillin made 17 saves to power the Mustangs (2-0, 1-0) to an emphatic win over the Lancers (0-2, 0-1).
Senior attackman Austin Edwards scored three times and assisted on another, junior attackman Jack Deufemia recorded two goals and one assist, and junior midfielder Justin Karlbon had a goal and two assists. Freshman attackman Colin Fanning added a goal and an assist while junior midfielder Shane Trautweiler scored once and sophomore defenseman Nick Barry scored his first varsity goal. Senior A.J. Ehrmantraut picked up a game-high 13 ground balls.
Senior Brendan Allen and sophomore Ethan Hunter each scored twice for St. John Vianney while freshman goalie Anthony Cassella made 14 saves.

The Cougars (1-2, 1-0) blanked the Lions (0-1, 0-1) to give Joe Ventresca his first win as Colts Neck head coach.
Junior goalie Giovanni Pietropaolo made 30 saves in the loss for Jackson Liberty.

Senior midfielder Matthew Denman recorded his first career hat trick, junior attackman Jake Agugliaro tallied two goals and two assists, and senior Brady Etzkorn and freshman Colby Etzkorn combined to post a shutout as the Golden Eagles (2-0, 1-0) blanked the Green Wave (0-2, 0-1).
Sophomore attackman Tucker Powderly registered a goal and three assists, senior attackman Brian Vannote had a goal and an assist, freshman midfielder Jaxen Carter scored his first varsity goal, and senior attackman Thomas Rotella also scored once.
Marlboro 16, New Egypt 3
Senior midfielder Andrew Silvia scored four goals and added three assists to power the Mustangs (1-1, 1-0) to a victory over the Warriors (0-1, 0-1).
Senior attackman Sam Shapiro sank three goals and dished out two assists while junior midfielder Mason Trombetta tallied three goals and one assist. Senior midfielder Braden Dupey scored twice and assisted on another, senior midfielder Daniel Onushkanich had a goal and an assist, and senior goalie Jack Lichtenthal made four saves to earn the win.
