American Division

No. 2 Manasquan 12, No. 6 Southern 4

Senior midfielder Matt Schneider recorded a hat trick, senior attackman Ryan Aldi supplied two goals and three assists, and senior goalie Pat Loxley made a career-high 19 saves as the Warriors (6-0, 2-0) won a ranked division road game over the Rams (2-1, 0-1).

Senior midfielder Kai Donohue had a career-high four points with two goals and two assists, sophomore attackman Kieran Schneider added two goals and one assist, and senior attackman Brandon Kunz had a goal and an assist. Senior midfielder Pat Frost and junior midfielder Jack O’Reilly each scored once.

Sophomore Kyle Sininskiy scored all four of Southern’s goals and senior goalie AJ Mattern made seven saves.

 

No. 3 CBA 15, No. 7 Wall 3

Freshman attackman Jackson Chaney tallied three goals and two assists while senior midfielder Davis Campbell and sophomore attackman Turner Cooke each registered three goals and one assist to lead the Colts (4-3, 2-0) to an emphatic division victory over the Crimson Knights (2-3, 1-1).

It was a 4-2 game after the first quarter before CBA scored seven straight goals to take an 11-2 lead into the fourth quarter.

Senior defenseman Quinn Kelly continued to flex his offensive muscles with two goals and two assists to give him 12 points this season and 30 goals for his career. Senior attackman Carter McGuire, sophomore midfielder Christian Fox, and freshman Anthony Lembo and Daniel Varone each scored once. Junior goalie Shayne Boresen made nine saves.

Junior midfielder Patrick Freud scored all three of Wall’s goals and senior goalie Braeden Buckley made five saves.

 

No. 5 Shore 10, No. 8 Red Bank 4

Senior midfielder Tucker Malfa recorded a hat trick and junior attackman Reid Spallone provided two goals and two assists when the Blue Devils (3-2, 1-1) opened a 6-0 halftime lead and held off the Bucs (0-4, 0-3) to pick up their first division victory.

Sophomore midfielder Brady McHugh scored twice while senior midfielder Brendan O’Brien scored a goal, went 16-for-17 on face-offs, and picked up 11 ground balls. Sophomore goalie Joey Longo made nine saves, Jack Madalone tallied a goal and two assists, and Lukas Villa had a goal and an assist.

Sophomore midfielder Justin Valentino scored twice and junior goalie Micahel Eisenbraun made 13 saves for Red Bank. Senior attackman Jack Tavares and junior midfielder Jack Berkeley each scored once.

 

 

Colonial Division

No. 10 Toms River East 15, Red Bank Catholic 1

Senior midfielder Nate Cummings scored two goals and assisted on two more to set Toms River East’s all-time points record with 199 and counting as the Raiders (4-1, 2-0) walloped the Caseys (0-6, 0-2) to keep pace atop the division standings.

Junior attackman Nicholas Caruso led all players with six goals and two assists and sophomore attackman Gerard Uzzolino tallied four goals and three assists. Senior midfielder Tyler Godlesky added a goal and an assist and senior middie Ethan Kelly and junior attackman Riley Weber each scored once.

Sophomore midfielder Jack Denver scored the lone goal for RBC.

 

Howell 13, Jackson Memorial 4

Senior midfielder Nick Turturro sank four goals and added one assist to reach 100 career points and power the Rebels (4-1, 1-1) to a win over the Jaguars (0-4, 0-2).

Senior midfielder Vin Meehan recorded three goals and three assists and junior midfielder Cole Reinsdorf delivered three goals and one assist. Senior defenseman Colin Finnegan and junior attackmen Mason Morgan and Travis Kimball each scored once. Senior FOGO Jack Elias won 15 of 17 at face-offs and dished out one assist and senior goalie Adam Baker made six saves.

 

Middletown South 9, No. 9 Manalapan 8

Sophomore midfielder Ryan Colacichi, senior Leo Abate, and junior Jackson O’Keefe each scored twice, and senior goalie Matt Mason made 10 saves when the Eagles (3-2, 2-0) rallied from a four-goal deficit to take down the Braves (2-3, 1-1) in a thrilling divisional showdown.

Colacichi finished with two goals and two assists, Abate had two goals and one assist, and O’Keefe scored twice. Ryan McCarthy added a goal and an assist and Luke Gaffney scored once.

 

Middletown North 8, Donovan Catholic 2

Sophomore midfielder Christian Balletto scored four times and sophomore midfielder Noah Fleming scored three goals with one assist to lead the unbeaten Lions (4-0, 2-0) past the Griffins (0-3, 0-1).

Senior Keaghan Gassler added one goal and senior goalie Mario Lorenson made six saves. Junior midfielder Lucas Baron went 10-for-13 on face-offs and senior Carter Braun chipped in with two assists.

 

 

Constitution Division

Barnegat 14, Brick Memorial 2

Junior midfielder Keagan Dunn tied a career-high with five goals and senior midfielder Luke Tortorici delivered four goals and three assists as the Bengals (3-1, 2-0) rolled to a key divisional victory over the Mustangs (3-2, 1-1).

Dunn added one assist to finish with six points while junior goalie DJ Swierk made five saves to backstop a shutdown effort from senior defensemen CJ Dringus, junior defenseman Cedryk Diola, sophomore defenseman Ben Proud, junior LSM Leo Chamorro, and senior midfielders Stephen Griffin and JD Prince.

Senior midfielder Bailey Carroll and junior attackman Codey Shaffery each scored twice and Chamorro got in on the scoring with a goal in the fourth quarter.

Senior attackman Austin Edwards and junior midfielder Evan Rojas scored goals for Brick Memorial and senior goalie Matt Hillin posted double-digit saves.

 

Ocean 12, Colts Neck 7

Junior defenseman Mickey McGovern had a career day with five goals and two assists to lead the Spartans (3-2, 1-1) to a victory over the Cougars (1-3, 1-1).

Junior attackman Connor Holevinski delivered three goals and two assists and junior attackman Ryan Smyth had a goal and an assist. Junior attackmen Jack Varley and James Knight and sophomore Frank Frasca each scored once.

Senior Tyler Bowdwn scored three goals and one assist to lead Colts Neck. Freshman Gavin Manasso added two goals and one assist, senior Jayden Molina had a goal and an assist, and junior Christian Casatelli scored once. Junior goalie Max Visoky made six saves.

 

St. John Vianney 11, Jackson Liberty 7

Senior attackman Brendan Allen scored four goals and assisted on four others and freshman goalie Anthony Cassella made 16 saves as the Lancers (2-2, 1-1) defeated the Lions (1-3, 0-2) for their first division win.

Sophomore midfielder Ethan Hunter had an excellent game with a hat trick plus a 15-for-17 afternoon at the face-off X. Senior attackman Kyle Dimarco and senior midfielder Blake Hawthorn each notched two goals and two assists.

 

Lacey 15, Toms River South 9

A 5 goal and 4 assist effort from junior Braedyn Gialanella lifted Lacey (3-2, 1-2) past Toms River South (1-3, 0-1). Senior Corey Smith also had an excellent game with 3 goals and 5 assists. Senior goalie Nicholas Vetter recorded 7 saves in the win for the Lions.

 

Freedom Division

Toms River North 10, New Egypt 2

Junior attackman Christian Wagner scored a career-high four goals and senior goalie Charlie Machamer made 10 saves to propel the Mariners (2-3, 2-0) to a division win over the Warriors (1-2, 1-2).

Senior midfielder Ben Misa posted a hat trick, senior midfielder Anthony Montalban and junior Alex Pudowkin had a goal and an assist each, and senior midfielder Robert Wingender scored once. Senior middie Cooper Lachowicz dished out two assists.

 

Central 9, Brick 1

Junior attackman Jake Agugliaro scored a career-high six goals and senior attackman Brian Vannote posted six points for the second straight game to lead the Golden Eagles (4-0, 2-0) to a win over the Dragons (1-5, 1-2).

Vannote had two goals and four assists while senior attackman Thomas Rotella had a goal and an assist and sophomore attackman Tucker Powderly dished out two assists. Senior goalie Brady Etzkorn (7 saves) and freshman goalie Colby Etzkorn (3 saves) combined for the win.

 

Neptune 5, St. Rose 3

Sophomore midfielder Hunter Reynolds scored four goals and picked up 10 ground balls while sophomore goalie Christian Loff made 14 saves as the Scarlet Fliers (2-2, 1-1) surged past the Purple Rose (0-1, 0-1) in the second half for their first division win of the season.

St. Rose led 2-1 after the first quarter and at halftime before Neptune scored three goals in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Senior midfielder Daniel Merrit added one goal and nine ground balls.

 

Marlboro 17, Long Branch 2

Senior attackman Sam Sapiro netted a career-high five goals as the Mustangs (3-1, 2-0) delivered a victory over the Green Wave (0-5, 0-3).

Senior midfielder Andrew Silvia and senior attackman Tyler Gellis also had five-point games with Siliva notching four goals and one assist while also going 7-for-10 at the face-off X. Gellis had a goal and four assists. Senior midfielder Braden Dupey had two goals and one assist and sophomore attackman Jake Sondak had a goal and an assist. Junior midfielder Matthew Chuk and senior midfielders AJ Muhlbach and midfielder Daniel Onushkanich scored one goal apiece. Junior Mason Trombetta had two assists.

In goal, Brayden Gallo made two saves to earn the win while sophomore Dane Mezhheritsky recorded his first two varsity saves and senior Jack Lichtenthal also saw action between the pipes.
