Wall 5, No. 5 Toms River East 4
Wall scored the tying run in the top of the seventh on a wild pitch and took the lead on a balk that scored freshman Jackson Soos from third later in the frame, giving the Crimson Knights a come-from-behind win over the Raiders.
Chris Knight gave Wall a 3-2 lead with a two-run single in the top of the third inning after Matt Ferrara created a pair of Toms River East runs in the first. Ferrara singled home a run, stole both second and third and scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first. Ferrara also plated the tying run with an RBI ground out in the bottom of the fifth and Toms River East regained the lead, 4-3, on an RBI single by freshman Carson Frazier with two out in the sixth.
Wall set up its winning rally in the seventh with a leadoff walk by Davis Harr, a single by Soos and a sacrifice bunt by Austin Harr. With runners on first and third and two out, Wall activated a double-steal to force the balk and give Soos home plate.
