Senior midfielder Cooper Lachowicz tallied three goals and two assists while senior midfielder Anthony Montalban sank three goals and one assist and senior midfielder Ben Misa delivered a goal and three assists to lead a balanced effort that sent the Mariners to a dominant victory over the Dragons in the season-opener for both teams.
Senior middie Robert Windgender and junior Michael Facchinni had two goals and one assist each and junior Patrick Hirtes also scored twice. Junior attackman Christian Wagner, senior KJ Londregan, and freshman attackman Jackson Debree each scored their first varsity goals. Senior goalie Charlie Machamer made two saves to earn his first career shutout.

Sophomore Matt Prendeville had a career day with five goals and two assists and senior midfielder Jason Piemonte scored a career-high four goals as the Panthers doubled up the Lions in both team’s season-opener.
Sophomore attackman and Marist signee Brady Kirk picked up right where he left off after a 97-point junior campaign with four goals and seven assists. Sophomore midfielder Blake Engelken scored twice and went 19-for-27 at the face-off X and junior midfielder Connor Trapanese also scored twice. Junior Nick Prendeville contributed a goal and an assist and junior goalie Jack Watson made nine saves

Eastern 10, Shore 9 (OT)
Eastern (1-0) rallied to force overtime and defeat Shore (0-1). Senior Tucker Malfa, Sophomore Brady McHugh, and Senior Lukas Villa each scored 2 goals for the Blue Devils while Senior Will Turner, Senior Braden Miller, and Junior Reid Spallone added 1 goal each. Junior John Mazzacco recorded 2 assists while Miller, Spallone, and Villa each recorded 1 assist. Sophomore goalie Joey Longo recorded 9 saves in the loss.
