North Jersey Section 2 Group 3
(4) Middletown North 4, (5) Nutley 0
Juniors Sofia Chaknis and Ava Cordoma each scored two goals as the Lions (13-6) rolled past the Raiders (13-7-1). Freshman Charlie Brink assisted on both of Chaknis’ goals while freshmen Siena Casale and Peyton Kulka each tallied an assist on Cordoma’s goals.
Middletown North will travel to top-seeded Chatham in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
(3) Middletown South 6, (6) JFK-Iselin 0
Senior forward Bea Tinoco netted two goals and assisted on four others as the Eagles (11-7) cruised past the Mustangs (13-4-1). Sophomore Riley Kapler added a goal and an assist. Juniors Hayley Jamison and Kate Verticchio and freshman Kennedy Russell also scored a goal. Russell’s goal was the first of her career. Freshman Delaney Finnegan tallied an assist.
Middletown South will travel to second-seeded Cranford in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
Central Jersey Group 4
(2) Howell 5, (10) Montgomery 2
Junior forward Makenzie Memmolo scored a goal and assisted on two more as the Rebels (16-4) raced past the Cougars (11-8). Four other Rebels added a goal including junior Grace Americo, sophomore Isabella Farinick, and freshmen Allison Cahill and Alyssa Skierski. Senior Veronica Nieves tallied an assist. Senior goalie Leila Shaw saved four shots.
The Rebels will host district rival Freehold Township in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
(6) Freehold Twp 3, (3) Old Bridge 2
Freshman Morgan Notato scored two goals to lead the Patriots (8-10-2) to an upset victoroy over the Knights (17-3-1). Senior Reese Metcalfe found sophomore Keeley Cook for what would become the eventual game-winning goal in the second half. Freshman Adele Moy also tallied an assist. Junior Violet Matthews saved five shots.
The Patriots will take a short bus ride to district rival Howell in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
(1) Manalapan 3, (8) Princeton 0
Senior forward Olivia Ziobro scored a goal and assisted on two more as the Braves (19-0) marched on with their undefeated season with a win over the Tigers (13-7). Ziobro found junior Kayla Sasso and senior Daniella Butash for the other two goals.
Manalapan will host fourth-seeded Hillsborough in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
Central Jersey Group 3
(3) Freehold Boro 5, (11) WWP-North 0
Senior midfielder Abigail Atkinson scored two goals as the Colonials (15-7) blanked the Knights (7-10). Senior Brielle Loize and freshman Mandi Guo each added a goal and an assist. Sophomore Alison Espinoza scored a goal. Junior Shea Patmore tallied two assists while senior Rylie Cook tallied one assist. Junior Makayla Koltunicki recorded three saves in the shutout.
Freehold Boro will travel to second-seeded Lawrence in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.

Freshman Philippa Hlatky scored a golden goal in double overtime to lift the Scarlet Fliers (9-10-1) over the Mustangs (6-12). Senior goalie Alyson Reynolds saved nine shots.
Neptune will travel to top-seeded Northern Burlington in the sectional semifinals.
Central Jersey Group 2
(1) Cinnaminson 3, (8) Manasquan 0
(6) Wall 3, (3) Rumson-Fair Haven 2 (Wall advances on penalties, 4-3)
Senior goalie Madalyn Peterson saved two shots in the shootout to lead the Crimson Knights (11-8-1) past the Bulldogs (13-10). Rumson struck first as junior Jordyn Sullivan finished a cross from senior Maren Kennedy. After haltime, Wall drew even after senior Madison Miller found freshman Gemma Brett on a cross. Wall would take the lead at the 60-minute mark as junior Megan Farrell tracked down a long free kick from senior Grace Holobinko. Rumson came right back as Sullivan drew a tripping penalty in the box and finished the penalty kick to knot the game up at 2 where it would remain until the conclusion.
Wall will travel to second-seeded Point Boro in the sectional semifinals. Wall will be looking for a measure of revenge having lost to Point Boro in the sectional final last season.
Central Jersey Group 1
(6) Shore 4, (14) Roselle Park 1
Senior Ava Coyle scored two goals and senior Tori Spadavecchia assisted on three goals as the Blue Devils (13-7) defeated the Panthers (6-15). Senior Jenna Eichenbaum added a goal and an assist. Senior Megan Kelly scored a goal. Freshman goalie Sydney Tilton saved five shots.
Shore will host fifteenth-seeded Delaware Valley in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
(9) Point Beach 3, (1) Metuchen 0
Sophomore goalie Alex Kuzloski recorded 10 saves as the Garnet Gulls (9-11) knocked off the top-seeded Bulldogs (17-5). Three players scored goals including seniors Sophia Fogler and Baileigh Johnson and junior Katie Kirchner.
Point Beach will travel to fifth-seeded Brearley in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
South Jersey Group 3
(5) Toms River South 2, (13) Lacey 0
Junior Alexia Cecere and sophomore Daniella Gordon each scored a goal as the Indians (12-5-2) blanked the Lions (12-10). Sophomore Ava Barbalinardo tallied an assist. Sophomore goalie Reese Lindemann recorded nine saves in the victory.
Toms River South will travel to top-seeded Shawnee in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday.
(3) Delsea 2, (6) Toms River East 1 (Delsea advances on penalties, 2-1)
Senior Addison Gallagher found fellow senior Ella McNeary for a first half goal, but the Crusaders (16-3-1) would tie the game in the second half and wind up defeating the Raiders (14-8) in penalty kicks.
South Jersey Group 2
(4) Seneca 2, (5) Barnegat 1
The Bengals (12-10) battled but fell to the Golden Eagles (11-6-2). Junior Avery Jastrzebski found classmate Jayla Duff for a second half goal. Junior goalie Ella Tortorici saved 10 shots.
