Former Manasquan standout and Shore Conference Player of the Year Darius Adams scored a game-high 22 points to lead La LuMiere (16-11) to a bounceback win over the Purple Roses (15-7).

Adams did most of his damage from the free-throw line, where the senior UConn commit and McDonald’s All-American went 14-for-20 to help ice the game one night after Colonia beat La Lumiere on a dramatic finish.

Junior Jayden Hodge led four St. Rose players in double-figure scoring with 18 points and also contributed six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Senior Evan Roman chipped in 14 points and senior Bryan Ebeling and freshman Izayah Cooper each added 10 in the loss, with Cooper also handing out five assists.
