2026 Boys and Girls Soccer Shore Conference Tournament Groups

The Soccer Shore Conference Tournament heads into its fourth year of a World-Cup-style format in 2026 and for the first time, it will fall in the same year as the actual World Cup. After three years to iron out the wrinkles, the event is hitting its stride heading into year four and since its inception three years ago, three different boys teams (Christian Brothers Academy, Colts Neck and Middletown South) and three different girls teams (Freehold Township, Middletown South and Manalapan) have won the conference tournament championship.

For the first time this season, the only change to the tournament will be the groups. There are once again eight groups in both the girls and boys fields, with 42 boys teams entering the tournament and 38 girls teams participating this coming fall. With those numbers, there will be six five-team groups and two six-team groups on the boys side, while the girls will have six groups of five and two with only four.

As was the case in each of the last two years, the top three finishers in each group during the group stage will advance to the official Shore Conference Tournament, with the bottom teams in each group being entered into the Shore Conference Coaches Cup Tournament that runs simultaneous to the SCT.

The groups were revealed on a live stream Wednesday night, hosted by Big State Sports with Shore Sports Insider soccer reporters Matt Manley and Nick Lowe participating in the production.
