41st Annual Kevin Williams Christmas Classic: Seeds and Schedule

The 41st Annual Kevin Williams Christmas Classic: December 26-30

The highly anticipated 41st annual Kevin Williams Christmas Classic, presented by RWJBarnabas, will take place from December 26-30 at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena at Toms River High School North. This premier basketball event will feature 16 boys and 18 girls high school teams from Monmouth and Ocean counties.

32 teams will begin their journey on Friday, December 26, with first-round games held in either the main arena or the recently dedicated Ray Cervino Gym across the hall. Games will tip off at 9 a.m. in both facilities, with action running through the last game which tips off at 7:30 p.m. in what promises to be a thrilling day of basketball.

30 of the 32 head coaches participating in the tournament ranked the teams on Sunday. Their rankings were then averaged and used to seed the teams.

• The top eight boys’ teams will compete in the Jim Ruhnke Bracket, while seeds 9-16 will play in the Steve Gepp Bracket.
• On the girls’ side, the top eight teams will be placed in the Ray Cervino Bracket, with seeds 9-16 in the Kathy Snyder Bracket.

Shore Sports Insider created a girls showcase division which will involve two of the top-ranked teams in the Shore Conference facing off against two of the top-ranked girls teams in New Jersey. The schedule for those games will be as follows:
