Shore Conference Coaches Cup Opening Round

(17) New Egypt 34, (16) Monmouth 30

Tied at 11 after the first quarter, New Egypt outscored Monmouth 11-4 in the second quarter and held on in the fourth quarter to win their opening round Coaches Cup game on the road. Olivia Stillwell scored a game-high 20 points and Madison Adam added 11 points for New Egypt. Senior Amaya Harris scored a team-high 13 points for Monmouth.

South River 40, Keyport 23

South River jumped out to a 22-6 halftime lead before Keyport battled back to close the deficit to 26-18 after the 3rd quarter. The Red Raiders ran out of gas in the 4th quarter. Junior Gia Aceta finished with a game-high 18 points and 18 rebounds in the loss for Keyport.
