RBC Star Daniel Zabora Commits to Air Force

Red Bank Catholic senior wide receiver/defensive back Daniel Zabora has announced he has verbally committed to play at Air Force.

The Caseys’ star shared on X on Sept. 20 that will continue his career at the military academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Zabora also had offers from Youngstown State and Army.

Heading into Friday’s showdown with No. 2 Holmdel, Zabora has 15 catches for 308 yards and four touchdowns this season for the top-ranked Caseys. He is coming off a career-high three touchdown catches in a 36-0 win over Middletown North. He finished with six catches for 122 yards in the victory.

Zabora also has three interceptions as a defensive back and has been one of the Shore Conference’s top two-way players this season.

He is the second Shore Conference senior to verbally commit to an FBS program, joining Donovan Catholic two-way lineman Kai Pritchard, an Illinois recruit. None of the commitments are binding until the players sign their grant-in-aid with their respective schools during the signing period in December.

Zabora is the first Shore Conference star to commit to Air Force since former St. John Vianney standout Haaziq Daniels, who played quarterback for the Falcons from 2019-22.

The Falcons are currently 1-2 heading into their game against Hawaii on Saturday. They compete in the Mountain West Conference.
