Junior Sean Moore scored two minutes into the second half and senior C.J. Collins tacked on an insurance goal in the 74th as the Cougars delivered in the second half to beat the Rebels.

No. 7 Holmdel 2, Rumson-Fair Haven 1 (OT)
Senior Dom Poli pounced on the ball in the Rumson defensive third and slammed home the golden goal in the 92nd minute to give the Hornets the overtime win against the Bulldogs.
The teams were scoreless through 64 minutes until Holmdel senior Nate Koenig found the far-side netting on a shot from beyond the 18-yard box. Rumson tied the game in the 70th minute when senior Kyle Winig knocked in a touch by senior Bobby Tamashunas off a throw-in.
Class A Central
Ocean 2, No. 9 Manasquan 1 (OT)
Senior Vernon Taylor scored the golden goal in overtime off a set-up by junior Connor Shaw and the Spartans outlasted the Warriors in overtime.
Senior Brandon Cosentino scored the equalizer in the 60th minute and Shaw nearly won the game with a minute left in regulation on a free kick that appeared to strike the interior post of the goal and bounce out, but was ruled to have struck the outer post.

Shore 4, Wall 1
Junior Michael Ilvento scored two goals and assisted two others by sophomore Bryan Silveira to lead the Blue Devils to a win over the Crimson Knights.
No. 10 Middletown South 2, Middletown North 0
Seniors Matteo Gallina and Mason Petke each scored a goal and senior Luke Strada helped out with an assist as the Eagles defeated the Lions in the battle of Middletown.
Class B North
Red Bank 4, Freehold Boro 1
Senior Alex Salvo scored three unanswered goals, including the game-winner with eight seconds left in the first half to steer the Bucs to a win over the Colonials.
Junior Humberto Hernandez staked Freehold Boro to a 1-0 lead before Salvo answered with the equalizer in the 35th minute off a pass from senior Jackson Whitehead and the go-ahead goal nearly five minutes later.
Salvo completed his hat trick seven minutes into the second half off a pass from sophomore Jason Ramirez and junior Brian Garcia capped the scoring in the 54th.
Freehold Twp. 4, Raritan 1
Senior Bobby Lockard kicked off the scoring and classmate Gabe Bormolini scored a goal in each half as the Patriots rolled through the Rockets to clinch a share of the Class B North championship.
Senior Gino Castaneda assisted Lockard’s goal in the first half, followed by assists by senior Isai Quiroz Torralba and sophomore Chase Melcher on the two goals by Bormolini.
After junior Matei Cojocariu scored Raritan’s first and only goal, senior Alex Rivera capped the scoring for Freehold Township.
Long Branch 8, St. Rose 1
Brandon Mendoza and Pedro Dias each scored a goal and the Green Wave handled the Purple Roses to clinch a share of the Class B North championship. Ricardo Portillo added a goal and two assists, Andy Ramirez Barrios assisted two goals, and Joao Dos Santos, Chris De Oliveira Santos and Pedro Piatto each scored a goal in the win.
Class B Central
Monmouth 3, Neptune 2
Senior Luca Tvrdik scored two goals and sophomore Hunter Oksen scored the game-winner as the Falcons edged the Scarlet Fliers. Seniors Joe Cooper and Joey Taylor scored the two Neptune goals.
Ranney 5, Asbury Park 3
Senior Eddie Magherini recorded his third hat trick of the season to run his Shore-Conference-leading season total to 20 goals and the Panthers overpowered the Blue Bishops to win their first outright division championships and first piece of a Class B Central title since 2019.
Junior Juan Torres and sophomore Braden Morin each added a goal for Ranney, with Torres also adding an assist.
Sophomore Chris Torres, senior Dain Salazar and junior Isaias Villa each scored a goal for Asbury Park.
Keyport 3, Red Bank Catholic 2 (OT)
Senior Dan Metrick scored the golden goal in overtime and the Red Raiders upended the Caseys. Metrick and fellow senior Justin Visaggio each recorded a goal and an assist in the win, while senior John Covert also finished a goal for Keyport.
Junior Jack Denver scored both Red Bank Catholic goals.
Non-Division
Brick Memorial 3, Central 0
Junior Nate Stryker scored two goals and assisted another by senior Landon Amalfa as the Mustangs rumbled to a win over the Golden Eagles. Stryker opened the scoring off a pass from Amalfa and returned the favor to Amalfa for a 2-0 lead. Stryker’s second goal came off a corner kick by junior Elin Torres.
Brick 3, No. 4 Toms River East 1
Senior Carl Loffredo notched a pair of goals and senior Anthony Martone added another as the Green Dragons continued their landmark week by knocking off the Raiders.
Pinelands 2, Lakewood 0
Seniors Lance Heuston and Kuelvin Valencia each scored a goal and classmate Jake Miller saved 11 shots to complete the clean sheet as the Wildcats bested the Piners on Senior Night.
Lacey 7, Barnegat 0
Senior Noah Riley posted a hat trick and dished out two assists and classmate Tanner Grozinski went for two goals and three assists to lead the Lions to a one-sided win over the Bengals.
Sophomore Paul Guerriero scored a goal and dealt out an assist and junior Will Reid contributed the other Lacey goal.
