Senior Alex Salvo completed his brace with the go-ahead goal in the 58th minute — the first of three second-half goals by the Bucs (6-11-1) that closed out a win over the Lions (3-12-2).

Salvo opened the scoring off a feed from junior Brian Garcia in the 12th minute, but senior Paul Que countered with the equalizer in the 35th minute to send the game to halftime tied, 1-1.

Salvo broke the tie in with a goal off a pass from senior Gus Kowalczyk in the 58th and Garcia set up another goal in the 69th — an insurance tally by junior Noah Schellato. Kowalczyk picked up his second assist of the game as well by finding junior Andy Plazas for a goal in the 73rd.

Sophomore Chris Torres scored the golden goal in the second overtime period off a pass from senior Dain Salazar and the Blue Bishops (9-5-1) picked off the Warriors (5-11) in overtime.

Bound Brook 4, Point Beach 2

Senior Dylan scored a goal and assisted one by sophomore Evan Hajeski, but it was not enough for the Garnet Gulls (10-5) in a loss to the Crusaders (9-6).

Allentown 5, Red Bank Catholic 1
