Shore Conference Tournament Championship

(1) Rumson-Fair Haven 17, (3) Southern 7

Senior Rachel James scored 5 goals and sophomore Chloe Kelly scored a career-high 4 goals as the Bulldogs (13-4) rolled to their 3rd straight Shore Conference Tournament Championship with a victory over the Rams (10-6). Senior Daisen Iwan netted 3 goals and 1 assist. Senior Mia Milkowski added 2 goals and 2 assists. Sophomore Aly Megaw scored 2 goals. Senior Kendall Carcaterra added a goal and an assist.

Seniors Delaney Falk and Avery Smith both scored 2 goals in the loss for the Rams. Senior Meri Cassidy, sophomore Kai Angelozzi, and freshman Mackenzie Sininsky each added a goal.

 

Coaches Cup Quarterfinals

(4) Marlboro 11, (5) Ocean 10 (OT)

Senior Kammi Haeusser scored 4 goals to lead the Mustangs (10-5) past the Spartans (7-10). Junior Hayden Paling added 3 goals. Sophomore Dani Kapp chipped in 2 goals along with 3 assists. Junior Molly Chodos and senior Sarah Gold also scored a goal. Freshman Sophia DeAlmeida tallied her first career assist. Junior goalie Amanda Collura stopped 7 shots in the win for the Mustangs.

Junior Maddie Kirchner poured in 7 goals and distributed an assist in the loss for the Spartans. Junior Brooke Todd scored 2 goals and junior Julia Wagner added 1 goal. Senior goalie Christina Azimov recorded 8 saves.

(2) Toms River South 9, (7) New Egypt 8

Senior Brooke Picca exploded for 6 goals as the Indians (10-5) handed the Warriors (13-1) their first loss of the season and advance to the Coaches Cup Semifinals.. Senior Abigail Tharp, junior Kelsey Weatherstone, and freshman Kylee Ford each scored a goal. Senior goalie Marleigh Burritt saved 6 shots in the win for the Indians.

Senior Kelly Thoens and junior Aimee Kovacs both scored 4 goals in the loss for the Warriors. Junior goalie Abigail Melchior saved 10 shots.

 

Independence Division

Neptune at Manchester, 3:45 p.m.

 

Pinelands 9, Jackson Liberty 1

A pair of hat tricks from seniors Alyssa Brown and Olivia Shertenlieb guided the Wildcats (5-7, 3-5) past the Lions (0-14, 0-8). Brown’s hat trick was the first of her career. Junior goalie Madison Lowry turned back 5 shots in the win for the Wildcats.

 

Nondivisional

Central 15, Brick Memorial 5

Freshman Addison Frulio sank 5 goals and distributed an assist to help guide the Golden Eagles (11-6) past the Mustangs (9-8). Seniors RyAnn Dunn and Jenna Robinson both scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist. Seniors Addie Angrisano and Samantha Demarco both scored 2 goals. Junior Brianna Nelson and sophomore Logan Lisewski added a goal. Senior Mia Treney registered 3 assists. Senior Morgan Schinder recorded 6 saves in the win for the Golden Eagles.

Senior Paige Fraser scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist in the loss for the Mustangs. Sophomore Lyla Blood added 2 goals. Junior Ella Kennedy scored 1 goal. Junior Charlotte Kampf tallied 2 assists.

 

Point Beach 18, St. Rose 8

 

Toms River East 14, Lacey 12

Senior Grace Crowley erupted for a career-high 9 goals as the Raiders (11-6) edged the Lions (9-6). Crowley’s 9 points are her most since a 6 goal and 3 assist performance against Holmdel earlier in the season. Junior Allison Momm scored 2 goals. Sophomore Libby Dickman added a goal and an assist. Senior Brooke Brattole and freshman Jaeda Batin both scored a goal. Sophomore Kacey Briles tallied a game-high 4 assists. Senior Maria Hayduk distributed 2 assists while freshmen Ciley Francis and Charlotte Standfast both distributed 1 assist.

Senior Zoey Smith matched Crowley’s total with 9 goals in the loss. It is the third time this season Smith has reached 9 goals. Her career-high is 11. Junior Amelia Mazur scored 2 goals and tallied 4 assists. Senior Lexi Coon added a goal. Freshman goalie Molly Barneman turned back 14 shots.

Cherokee 10, Manasquan 2

The Warriors (7-9) fell to the Chiefs (10-6). Sophomore Sarah Sharpe and freshman Olive O’Reilly both scored a goal in the loss for Manasquan. Sophomore Dylan Carnahan tallied an assist.
