Juniors Reese Achille and Madison Lacerda combined for 8 goals to lead Brick Township (1-1) to their first win of the season over Manchester (0-1). Achille scored 5 goals while Lacerda added 3 goals and 1 assist in the win for the Dragons. Sophomore Lindsay Giovine added 2 more goals while Junior Riley O’Brien, Junior Leighana Murray, and Sophomore Vienna Skowronski each added 1 goal. Sophomore goalie Isabella Davila recorded 10 saves in the win.

Barnegat 14, Middletown North 0
A stellar performance in goal from Freshman Bridget Flattery helped Barnegat (1-0) shutout Middletown North (0-1) on opening day. Flattery finished with 10 saves for the Bengals. Junior Lizzie Medina scored 4 goals and dished out 1 assist while Senior Emilia Ercolino added 3 goals and Sophomore Molly Carroll scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist in the win for the Bengals. Senior Skyler Perry, Sophomore Ella Tortorici, Senior Olivia Carll, and Sophomore Jayla Duff also scored 1 goal each in the win.
Brick Memorial 8, Monmouth Regional 3
Junior Ella Kennedy scored 4 goals to lead Brick Memorial (1-0) past Monmouth Regional (0-1) in an opening day victory. Junior Charlotte Kampf added 2 goals and 1 assist. Junior Lila Hopkins and Sophomore Lyla Blood each added 1 goal while Senior Lyla Gelnaw and Senior Paige Fraser each added an assist in the victory for the Mustangs. Junior goalie Caylyn Rivera recorded 8 saves.
Shore 16, Wall 2
Senior duo Gabby O’Brien and Kendall Bennett each scored 5 goals to lead Shore (1-0) past Wall (0-2) in their first game of the season. Bennett finished with 7 total points as she added 2 assists to her 5 goal total. Sophomore Marielle Montenegro and Senior Cami Grella each added 2 goals for the Blue Devils while Sophomore Ava Matthews added 1 goal and 2 assist, Freshman Scarlett Watson added 1 goal and 1 assist in her varsity debut, and Teegan Harmon added 2 assists in the win. Senior Sofia Merten recorded 6 saves.
