American Division

No. 2 Trinity Hall 17, No. 6 Red Bank 5

No. 3 Shore 13, No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 9

Senior goalie Sofia Merten recorded 18 saves and three Blue Devils (10-3, 3-2) recorded hat tricks in an upset victory against the top ranked Bulldogs (7-4, 5-1). Shore became the first Shore Conference team to defeat Rumson-Fair Haven since Manasquan did on April 23rd last season. The Blue Devils led 6-5 at halftime before creating separation in the 3rd period as they went ahead 9-6. They would outscore them again in the 4th period 4-3. Senior Kendall Bennett scored 3 goals and tallied 3 assists. Sophomore Ava Matthews sank 3 shots and tallied an assist. Sophomore Marielle Montenegro also scored 3 goals. Senior Jasmin Okuszka added 2 goals. Senior Gabby O’Brien scored 1 goal and tallied an assist while senior Teagan Harmon added a goal. Junior defender Aubrey McGrade forced a game-high 3 turnovers.

Senior Daisen Iwan scored 3 goals and tallied an assist in the loss for the Bulldogs. Senior Mia Milkowski added 2 goals and an assist. Seniors Rachel James and Kendall Carcaterra as well as sophomore Chloe Kelly each scored a goal and tallied an assist. Sophomore Aly Megaw also scored a goal.

 

Colonial Division

Manalapan 19, Toms River North 6

 

No. 9 Toms River East 20, Wall 14

Senior Grace Crowley erupted for 7 goals for the second time this season and led the Raiders (6-3, 5-2) past the Crimson Knights (3-9, 2-5). Junior Allison Momm scored 4 goals and tallied an assist while freshmen Charlotte Standfast and Ciley Francis each scored 3 goals and tallied an assist. Sophomore Libby Dickman added 2 goals while senior Brooke Brattole added a goal and 2 assists.

Junior Hannah Leete scored 7 goals for the second game in a row in the loss for the Crimson Knights. Seniors Kirra Leonard and Erynn Richey as well as sophomore Isabella Breen each scored 2 goals. Senior Mackenzie Cavalieri added a goal while junior Ella Schaible distributed 3 assists.

No. 8 Barnegat 11, Holmdel 5

Junior goalie Allie Soden saved 13 shots as the Bengals (9-2, 5-2) defeated the Hornets (4-7, 2-5). Senior Emilia Ercolino and sophomore Ella Tortorici both scored 3 goals. Sophomore Sadie Guiro scored 2 goals and tallied an assist while junior Kylei Grant added 2 goals. Sophomore Molly Carroll sank a shot and distributed 2 assists while junior Lizzie Medina tallied an assist.

No. 7 Central 9 No. 10 Point Boro 8

Junior Claudia Scarpitti took the ball from midfield, eluded defenders, and buried a shot with :47 left to lead an epic comeback by No. 7 Central, as they defeated No. 10 Point Boro 9-8.  Central trailed 8-5 heading to the fourth, but goals by Addison Frulio (9:19) Ryann Dunn (2:24) and Sam DeMarco (1:00) before the game winner by Scarpitti, allowing the Golden Eagles to clinch the Colonial Division title.

Frulio, Brianna Nelson, and Dunn scored 2 goals each for Central (9-3).  Dunn’s second goal of the game was the 100th of her career.  Logan Lisewski, DeMarco, and Scarpitti added one score each.

Point Boro (6-3) was led by Lucy Hauser’s 3 goals.  Lily Scalabrine added 2 goals, and Frankie Skowronski, Aubrey Gilbert, and Siena Guerrierri chipped in with 1 score each.

 

Constitution Division

Toms River South 15, Ocean 12

Senior duo Madeline Krohn and Brooke Picca could not be stopped on the offensive end as the Indians (6-2, 4-1) outscored the Spartans (3-7, 3-7) 9-2 in the second half to rally to victory after trailing 10-6 at the half. Krohn finished with 6 goals and 1 assist while Picca finished with 5 goals and 1 assist. Junior Kelsey Weatherstone netted a hat trick and an assist. Sophomore Taylor Sipe scored her first career goal in the victory for the Indians.

Junior Maddie Kirchner continued to score at a high rate with 7 goals and an assist in the loss for the Spartans. Junior Brooke Todd added 4 goals. Junior Julia Wagner also scored a goal while senior Kilsarys Diaz tallied an assist.

Jackson Memorial 9, Point Beach 5

Senior Cheyenne Maloney recorded a hat trick as the Jaguars (4-7, 3-4) topped the Garnet Gulls (1-7, 0-6). Sophomore Ella Cooke added a career-high 4 points as she scored 2 goals and 2 assists. Junior Faith Moroney scored 2 goals while sophomores Madison Fagliarone and Regan Cooney both scored a goal. Senior Kaelyn Dunbar stopped 6 shots in the win for the Jaguars.

Marlboro 9, Colts Neck 6

The Mustangs (6-2, 3-1) rallied from a 5-4 deficit to beat the Cougars (4-7, 2-5) behind 4 goals from senior Kammi Haesser. Sophomore Elizabeth Stellato scored 3 goals and tallied an assist. Junior Hayden Paling and sophomore Dani Kapp both scored a goal.

Senior Brynn Mahoney scored a team-high 3 goals in the loss for the Cougars.

Lacey 13, Red Bank Catholic 12

Senior Zoey Smith exploded for 9 goals and 1 assist, and freshman goalie Molly Barneman snatched a career-high 16 saves as the Lions (5-4, 3-2) won a wild one against the Caseys (7-4, 6-1). Freshman Emily Slota scored 1 goal and tallied 2 assists. Sophomore Addison Papa added 1 goal and 1 assist. Senior Mia Sullivan and Gianna Camporeale each scored a goal in the win for the Lions.

Sophomore Alexandra Rogers netted 7 goals in the loss for the Caseys. Senior Malia D’Alterio scored 4 goals. Senior Molly Fox added 1 goal and 1 assist.

 

Freedom Division

Donovan Catholic 23, St. Rose 17

Junior Maddie Koehler was unstoppable as she scored a career-high 15 goals and distributed 3 assists in the Griffins (3-5, 1-3) victory over the Purple Roses (2-5, 1-5). Koehler surpassed her goal total from last season in just 8 games this year. She currently has 52 goals on the season. Not lost in the insanity of Koehler’s scoring outburst was a career-high 6 goal effort from junior Gianna DelliSanti. Sophomore Isabella Ross scored 1 goal and tallied an assist while freshman Caroline Eberle scored her first career goal in the win for the Griffins.

Senior Maura Kerr scored a team-high 5 goals and tallied 3 assists in the loss for the Purple Roses. Junior Maeve Ragan and sophomore Emma Rogers both netted their first career hat tricks.
