(5) Middletown South 16 (13) Manalapan 5
Junior Anna Stumberger exploded for a season-high 9 points (5 goals, 4 assists) to lead #5 Middletown South to a 16-5 win over #13 Manalapan. Abigail Gallagher and Hayley Jamison added 3 goals and an assist each. Alexis Marquis and Caroline Bedetti chipped in with 2 goals a piece. Goalie Anna Weiss stopped 8 shots in the win. The Eagles will go on the road to take on #4 Shore in the SCT quarterfinals on Thursday. Shore won the regular season matchup 8-6.
(7) Manasquan 13, (10) Toms River East 5
Junior Ellie Sitar tallied a career-high 6 points on 4 goals and 2 assists to help lead the Warriors (7-7) past the Raiders (9-6) into the quarterfinals of the Shore Conference Tournament. Sophomore Sarah Sharpe netted a hat trick along with an assist. Sophomore Sterling Blum netted her first career hat trick. Freshman Chloe Stevens scored 2 goals. Senior Sophia Evans scored a goal and distributed an assist while sophomore Dylan Carnahan tallied an assist. Junior Logan McCarthy forced 6 turnovers and junior Gwen O’Connor forced 4 turnovers on defense. Junior goalie Alexandra Stamos turned back 9 shots in the win for the Warriors. Manasquan will travel to Trinity Hall on Thursday in the quarterfinals.
(9) Barnegat 10 (8) Central 6
Sophomores Ella Tortorici, Molly Carrol, and Sadie Guiro combined for 8 goals to lead #9 Barnegat to a 10-6 upset over #8 Central. The win by the Bengals avenged a 10-9 loss to the Golden Eagles during the regular season. Tortorici and Carrol scored 3 goals each, while Guiro added 2 goals and 3 assists. Goalie Allie Soden remained hot, stopping 9 shots in the win. Barnegat will travel to face #1 seed Rumson Fair-Haven in the SCT quarterfinals on Thursday.
Senior Sam DeMarco led Central with 2 goals.
(6) Red Bank 12, (11) Point Boro 7
Freshman Maddie Pierson scored a career-high 4 goals and tallied and assist, and junior Chloe Keating netted a hat trick and distributed an assist as the Bucs (9-4) defeated the Panthers (10-5) to advance to the next round. Junior Ella Marc-Aurele scored 2 goals and distributed 1 assist. Junior Karlie Ruland sank 1 shot and distributed 3 assists. Senior Caleigh Gilbert and junior Kate Meulener both added a goal and an assist. Junior goalie Nora Tavares recorded 9 saves in the win for the Bucs.
Sophomore Aubrey Gilbert scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists, and senior Kayden Cilento scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist in the loss for the Panthers. Junior Francesca Skowronski added a goal and an assist. Junior Lily Scalabrini and sophomore Lucy Hauser both scored a goal. The Bucs will travel to face Southern on Thursday.

Senior Kammi Haeusser scored 4 goals and tallied an assist as the Mustangs (9-4) defeated the Garnet Gulls (4-11). Junior Hayden Paling netted a hat trick and tallied an assist. Sophomore Elizabeth Stellato also scored 3 goals. Sophomore Dani Kapp scored a goal and an assist while senior Brooke Gordon added a goal. Senior Sarah Gold tallied 2 assists. Junior goalie Amanda Collura saved 5 shots in the victory.
Nonconference
No. 2 Trinity Hall 18, Holy Spirit 12
Sophomore Chiara Donahue registered a career-high 9 points as the Monarchs (10-5) defeated the Spartans (9-6). Donahue scored 5 goals, distributed 4 assists, scooped up 10 ground balls, won 7 draw controls, and forced 12 turnovers in an all-around performance. Sophomore O’Malley Eldridge scored also registered a career-high in points with 6 and goals with 5. Senior Mary Catherine O’Connor netted 3 goals and tallied 3 assists. O’Connor scored her 100th career goal on her final goal of the game. Senior Kristen Gioia also had a career day as she netted her first hat trick. Senior Bridie Fitzgerald and freshman Sarina DeRosa both added a goal.
