2025 Girls Lacrosse All-Shore 1st Team

Attackers

Mia Milkowski, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

Milkowski finished the season with the most points for the Bulldogs. She scored 49 goals and recorded 45 assists totaling 94 points. Milkowski registered 2 goals and 2 assists in the Shore Conference championship win over Southern and 3 assists in the Bulldogs’ win over Mountain Lakes for the Group 1 State Championship. The senior will be continuing her career at George Washington University.

Daisen Iwan, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

Iwan had an all-around great season for the Bulldogs. She finished with 41 goals and 12 assists totaling 53 points along with 24 ground balls and 20 forced turnovers. Iwan scored a career-high 6 goals this season vs Lawrenceville. One of her most clutch performances of the season came in the Shore Conference Championship as she netted 3 goals and 1 assist in the victory over Southern. Iwan will continue her career at George Washington University.

Midfielders

Rachel James, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

James, the 2025 Shore Conference Player of the Year, finished her final season with 65 goals and 16 assists totaling 81 poinst along with 32 ground balls, 142 draw controls, and 23 forced turnovers.  She scored 4 goals in the Bulldogs’ state championship victory over Mountain Lakes. James finished her career as Rumson-Fair Haven’s all-time leading scorer (255 goals, 326 points). James will be continuing her career at Loyola University Maryland.

Gabby O’Brien, Shore, Sr.

O’Brien led the Blue Devils in scoring this season. She finished the season with 75 goals and 30 assists totaling 105 points along with 71 ground balls, 90 draw controls, and 43 forced turnovers.  O’Brien scored a season-high 8 goals against Seneca. O’Brien will be continuing her career at Boston University.

Zoey Smith, Lacey, Sr.

Smith finished out a storied career this year for the Lions with 117 goals and 24 assists totaling 141 points along with 65 ground balls, 120 draw controls, and 30 forced turnovers. For her career, Smith finished with 411 goals. She will be continuing her career at Johns Hopkins University.

Delaney Falk, Southern, Sr.

Falk led her team to its first sectional championship in school history this year. She finished the year with 74 goals and 24 assists totaling 98 points along with 42 ground balls, 69 draw controls, and 29 forced turnovers. Falk tied her career-high with 9 goals against Seneca and registered 4 goals and 2 assists in the South Jersey Group 4 championship game win over Cherokee. She finished her career with 283 goals. Falk will continue her career at the United States Naval Academy.

Avery Smith, Southern, Sr.

Smith was one of the catalysts igniting Southern’s sectional championship winning season. She finished the season with 50 goals and 15 assists totaling 65 points along with 45 ground balls, 60 draw controls, and 32 forced turnovers. She erupted for a career-high 9 goals in the first meeting with Rumson-Fair Haven this season. Smith will be attending Stockton University.

Kendall Bennett, Shore, Sr.

Bennett was a major factor in the successful season the Blue Devils had in 2025. She finished the season with 41 goals and 32 assists totaling 73 points along with 41 ground balls, 73 draw controls, and 34 forced turnovers. Bennett scored a season-high 5 goals against Wall in the season opener. She will continue her career at Quinnipiac University.

Karlie Ruland, Red Bank, Jr.

Ruland had a remarkable season for the Bucs. She finished the year with 48 goals and 32 assists totaling 80 points along with 32 ground balls, 104 draw controls, and 20 forced turnovers. Ruland scored 2 goals and added an assist in the Bucs’ upset win over Shore Regional  and registered a season-high 6 goals vs Old Bridge. Ruland is 2 goals away from 100 for her career heading into her senior season. She is currently committed to play for the University of Rhode Island after her senior season.

Chiara Donohue, Trinity Hall, So.

Donohue led Trinity Hall in nearly every statistical category this season. She finished the season with 49 goals and 27 assists totaling 76 points in addition to 66 ground balls, 64 draw controls, and 70 forced turnovers. Donohue scored a season-high 5 goals three times this season and is only 15 goals shy of 100 for her career with 2 seasons left to play.

Defenders

Winnie Popham, Trinity Hall, Jr.

Popham was consistently tasked with marking the opposing teams best offensive weapon. Trinity Hall rode Popham’s defense all the way to the NJSIAA Non-Public group semifinals. She finished the season with 2 assists, 60 ground balls, and 55 forced turnovers. Popham is currently committed to play for Loyola University Maryland at the conclusion of her senior season.

Logan McCarthy, Manasquan Jr.

McCarthy was the powerful force behind the Warriors defense. She finished the season with 1 goal, 103 ground balls, 84 draw controls, and 69 forced turnovers. McCarthy is a very physical defender, and caused problems for opposing teams’ best players all season. She is currently committed to play for the University at Albany after her senior season.

Julia Barry, Southern, Jr.

Barry guided the turnaround of Southern’s defense at the end of the season which played lights out throughout the entirety of the South Jersey Group 4 playoffs. She finished the season with 26 ground balls, 3 draw controls, and 42 forced turnovers. Barry’s stellar defense shutdown Cherokee’s high-powered offense as Southern won its first South Jersey Group 4 sectional championship.

Goalies

Anna Weise, Middletown South, Sr.

Weise had a terrific season in the net for the Eagles. She stopped 146 shots while giving up 116 goals in 18 games against one of the hardest schedules in the Shore Conference. In Middletown South’s biggest win of the season, an 8-6 win over Southern, Weise saved 8 shots. Weise will continue her career at Widener University.

Sofia Merten, Shore, Sr.

Merten was one of the main cogs in the great season Shore Regional had in 2025. She finished the season with 203 saves while giving up 185 goals. Merten averaged 9.3 saves per game this season, playing in the brutal American Division. She saved an amazing 18 shots in Shore’s regular season upset victory over Rumson-Fair Haven. Merten will be continuing her career at Dominican University New York.
