Trinity Hall jumped out to a 40-14 lead at halftime over Immaculata to advance into the second round of NPSJA. Junior Grace Feeney scored a game-high 23 points and Whitney Hobson added 10 points for the Monarchs. Senior Lilly Riggi drained three 3-pointers to finish with 9 points for Trinity Hall. The Monarchs will travel to No. 2 St. Rose in the second round.
(4) St. John Vianney 83, (13) Mount St. Mary 30
After building a ten point lead after the first quarter, SJV outscored Mount St, Mary 29-9 in the second quarter to put the game out of reach. Junior Stella Lockhart scored a game-high 21 points and Madison Kocis added 11 points for SJV. SJV will host No. 5 Bishop Eustace in the second round of the NPSJA.
(3) Red Bank Catholic 72, (14) Princeton Day 26
RBC cruised to a first round victory in SJNPA after leading 37 to 12 lead at halftime. Senior Tessa Carman scored 15 points to become the third Casey to reach the 1,000 point milestone this season. Junior Addy Nyemchek scored a game-high 16 points for RBC.
