Senior quarterback Frankie Williams threw three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Caseys (1-2, 1-0) to a runaway victory over the Green Wave (0-3, 0-1) to snap their two-game slide to open the season.

Williams ran for a 3-yard touchdown and tossed a 19-yard touchdown pass to sophomore running back Jordan Mosenthine, a touchdown pass to sophomore wideout Chris Gibson and a touchdown to junior wide receiver Daniel Zabora. Mosenthine also ran for a touchdown.

Williams finished with 129 yards and three touchdowns on 11 of 16 passing and ran for 46 yards and a score on six carries. Mosenthine had four carries for 64 yards and a touchdown and a 22-yard touchdown catch. Gibson’s touchdown catch was from 34 yards out. Sophomore running back Jake Bickerton added a touchdown run in the second half.

The Caseys defense created 14 negative plays with senior linebacker Patrick McGonnell, sophomore defensive end Lorenzo Tartamella and senior defensive end James Forsyth each recording one sack and two tackles for loss. Senior linebacker Jamie Gutridge had a team-high 10 tackles with a sack and a tackle for loss and Forsyth also recovered a fumble.

Senior quarterback Quinton Fisher threw a 58-yard touchdown pass to senior wideout Aulander Daniels for Long Branch. Fisher also ran for 50 yards on nine carries.
