No. 7 Point Beach 52, Toms River South 40
Junior George Breckenridge poured in 19 points and the Garnet Gulls (10-2, 4-0) turned away the Indians (7-6, 1-3) for their sixth straight win. Fellow junior Matt Tierney added 12 points for Point Beach.
Senior Jacob Myers led Toms River South with 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals, while classmate Shane Gambarony chipped in 12 points, three assists and three steals in the loss.

Keansburg 55, Thomas Edison Charter 45
Sophomore Taurian Black scored 16 points to go with three assists and eight steals and the Titans (5-4) outlasted Thomas Edison Charter (1-10). Kyler Dressler chipped in 13 points, six rebounds and three steals, sophomore Daizhan Jones added eight points, and senior Jaivon Thomas-Conklin contributed six points, 14 rebounds and three steals for Keansburg.
Keyport 66, Calvary Academy 52
Senior Kai Arrington pumped in 32 points and the Red Raiders (5-5) rolled to a win over Calvary Academy (0-3). Senior Casey McCarthy also drained 19 points to carry the Keyport offense along with Arrington.
Mainland 57, No. 10 Central 51
Sean Burke scored 12 of his game-high 23 points in the second half and Dallas Rowell scored all 12 of his points after halftime as the Mustangs (5-6) overcame a five-point halftime deficit and a four-point hole to open the fourth quarter in beating the Golden Eagles (7-4).
Junior Derek Roth scored 15 points, junior Tyler Woermer added 14 and sophomore Jaxen Carter canned three three-pointers for 11 points to lead Central.

Bergen Catholic 92, No. 1 CBA 75
Michigan State commit Julius Avent and Fairfield commit Jaden Brown each scored 23 points and the Crusaders (10-1) lit up the scoreboard to race past the Colts (10-2) in a game between to of the top-five-ranked teams in the state, according to NJ Advance Media.
Avent’s final basket was a dunk that gave him 1,000 points for his career and he also hauled in 15 rebounds while blocking four shots to help No. 2 Bergen Catholic own the paint. Brown, meanwhile, added five rebounds and four assists for the Crusaders, who trailed, 15-14, late in the first quarter before outscoring CBA, 38-20, over the remainder of the half to seize control of the game. From that point on, the Colts never got closer than 10.
Sophomore Izayah Cooper led No. 4 CBA with 21 points and six assists, including 11 points in CBA’s 27-point third quarter that only shaved five points off Bergen Catholic’s 17-point halftime lead. Junior Avery Lynch chipped in 20 points and eight rebounds, while senior Charlie Messano added 11 points, four assists and four steals for the Colts, who suffered their first in-state loss of the season and ended a six-game winning streak.
