Sophomore JoJo Newell scored 26 points and the Admirals (9-4) overcame the absence of senior Jack Fitzpatrick (illness) to beat Calvary Christian (1-8). Senior Kevin Pharo and juniors Michael Fitzpatrick and Billy Quinn each scored eight points for Henry Hudson.

Senior Mekai Morse scored 18 points and classmate Sherrod Nelson added 14, but the Mariners’ (5-8) bid for a win over the Eagles (9-4) came up just short.
Sophomore Jackson Sias added nine points for Toms River North, which had two shots to tie the game on the final possession, with both three-point attempts rimming out. Jalen Bell scored a game-high 20 points to lead Egg Harbor to its fifth straight win.

Junior George Boley poured in 12 points and classmate Randy Holmes Jr. added 10 to lead Jackson Memorial, but the Trojans (9-3) owned the middle two quarters in taking down the Jaguars (4-9).
Albion Ahmetaj scored a game-high 15 points to lead St. Thomas Aquinas, which outscored Jackson Memorial, 35-16, during the second and third quarters en route to its fifth straight win.
