No. 4 Central 66, Lacey 48
Senior Jaycen Santucci led four Central players in double-figure scoring with 13 points and also swiped five steals to spark a Golden Eagles (5-1) win over the Lions (2-3).
Senior Aidan Graham added 11 points thanks to three three-pointers and both senior Royalty Riley and sophomore Derek Roth pitched in 10 points apiece for Central, which stormed to a 44-6 lead by halftime. Roth — who played his freshman season at Lacey — also grabbed eight rebounds against his former school.
Senior Maris Mooney scored a game-high 18 points for Lacey while also contributing four assists and five steals.
Brick 69, Lakewood 67 (OT)
Sophomore Jamel Pitts pumped in 32 points and sealed the game with two free throws in the final seconds of overtime as the Green Dragons (3-4) survived a battle with the Piners (1-2).
Pitts also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out four assists, capping his performance with free throws that gave Brick a 69-64 lead before a last-second three accounted for the last of Lakewood’s scoring.
Lakewood sent the game to overtime on a game-tying three-pointer by junior Cris Rosario with 2.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
Senior Jayden Johnson added 13 points and sophomore Sean Nausedas pitched in 12 for Brick.
Neptune 34, Long Branch 26
No. 8 Ranney 68, Jackson Memorial 54
Senior MeSean Williams led a balanced Ranney scoring effort with 21 points and the Panthers (4-1) held off the Jaguars (1-6) on the road after a big second quarter.
Junior Shaan Nayar added 14 points, senior Justin Buck poured in 12 and sophomore Brody Mauro netted 11 for Ranney, which outscored Jackson Memorial, 24-12, in the second quarter to go up, 40-25, at halftime.
Junior Jimmy Pappalardo led Jackson Memorial with a game-high 24 points and freshman Mi’Aire Anderson chipped in 11 in the loss.
Raritan 44, Barnegat 40 (OT)
Junior Ian Mullan scored a game-high 16 points and hit the tiebreaking three-pointer with just under a minute to play in overtime to lead the Rockets (2-3) to a win over the Bengals (4-2).
Mullan scored all four points of the overtime, which also included a free throw that put the game away. Freshman Mario Diamantis scored nine points on three three-pointers, while both senior Alan Warren and senior Xavier Nunez added six points apiece. Warren also grabbed 11 rebounds and Nunez handed out six assists.
No. 2 Manasquan 72, No. 7 Freehold Boro 32
Sophomore Rey Weinseimer scored 16 of his 24 points in the second half and the Warriors (6-1) blew the game open during the third quarter on the way to a one-sided win over the Colonials (5-3).
Weinseimer also dished out three assists and blocked two shots, while senior Griffin Linstra contributed 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Manasquan, which outscored Freehold Boro, 44-11, after Freehold Boro pulled to within 28-21 late in the second quarter — including 40-11 in the second half.
Senior Dan McManus scored 11 points off the bench thanks to three three-pointers, which accounted for a quarter of Manasquan’s 12 three-pointers in the game. Senior Brandon Kunz also knocked down three three-pointers for nine points in the win.
Senior Brian Tassey led Freehold Boro with 12 points and three assists.
Freehold Twp. 52, Howell 48
Sophomore Jordan Dulnuan led a balanced Freehold Township attack with 15 points and the Patriots (3-3) fought past the Rebels (2-3). Senior Peter Parkauskas led Howell with a game-high 18 points.
Wall 59, Manalapan 46
Senior Tom Ekberg scored a game-high 20 points and the Crimson Knights (5-2) rode a strong fourth quarter to a win over the Braves (3-2) — Wall’s fourth straight win and first since winning the WOBM Christmas Classic Steve Gepp Bracket.
Junior Liam Killea pitched in 11 points, classmate Jacob DeBrito added nine and senior Brian McKenna threw in eight for Wall, which outscored Manalapan, 20-9, in the fourth.
Senior Aiden Sosinov and junior Dean Aviles each scored 15 points and sophomore Spencer Schoenfeld added 11 in the loss.
Toms River South 57, Point Beach 55
Junior Shane Gambarony poured in a game-high 21 points and the Indians (2-4) upended the Garnet Gulls (3-4) in a tightly contested game from start-to-finish.
Senior Mark Avendano contributed 14 points and junior Kharii Pringle netted 11 for Toms River South. Sophomore Tyler Preston scored 15 points, senior Scottie Crowley poured in 14 and junior Jacob Edgecomb added 13 to lead Point Beach.
No. 9 Southern 59, Brick Memorial 52
Sophomore Noah Perna scored a game-high 17 points to go with eight rebounds and the Rams (4-2) used a dominant second quarter to surge past the Mustangs (6-2).
Senior Cooper Dempsey pumped in 14 points on four three-pointers, while junior Jake Sliwinski contributed 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals for Southern, which ripped off a 21-6 run during the second quarter.. Senior Aiden Miller also cracked double-figures with 10 points.
Senior Joe Witter also scored 17 points to lead Brick Memorial. Juniors Nyzier Matthews and Sean Collins each added 11 points in the loss.
Holmdel 50, Donovan Catholic 42
Junior Jack Vallillo drained three three-pointers on the way to a team-high 14 points as the Hornets (3-3) nailed down a road win over the Griffins (2-5).
Senior Ire Adesina added 10 points and classmates C.J. Karis and Joe Curreiri each added nine points for Holmdel, which outscored Donovan Catholic, 31-16, during the second and third quarters combined.
Senior Ryan Jacobs scored a game-high 17 points to lead Donovan Catholic, while junior Kai Pritchard added 11 in the loss.
Point Boro 82, Manchester 54
Sophomore Hunter Hynes scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter and the Panthers (6-0) rode another hot start from their sharp-shooting sophomore to a lopsided win — this time over the Hawks (1-6) to make it six in a row to open the season.
Junior Jovin Steinmetz added 16 points on four three-pointers while seniors Drew Cardia and Nick Kowalewski each added 11 for Point Boro, which scored a whopping 38 points in the first quarter.
Senior C.J. Goins scored 17 points, freshman Justin Roberts netted 14 and senior Aidan Lunn pitched in 10 to lead Manchester.
Red Bank Catholic 69, Monmouth 42
Senior Ryan Prior scored 15 of his game-high 23 points in the second half, during which the Caseys (5-2) pulled away for a win over the Falcons (0-6).
Prior and classmate Sean Saxton each scored seven points in the third quarter, during which RBC outscored Monmouth, 27-10, to open up a 25-point lead after the Caseys led by eight at halftime. Sophomore Ryder Ciorciari also threw in nine points for Red Bank Catholic.
Sophomore Javon Bowles scored 14 points to lead Monmouth.
Middletown South 54, Middletown North 46
Senior Brady Hahn scored 19 points and the Eagles (5-2) came out on top against the Lions (3-4) in their crosstown showdown. The matchup was the first between the teams since Middletown North beat Middletown South in the first ever Shore Conference Coaches Cup Championship last February.
Junior Matt Trimble added 13 points and classmate Nick Cannizzaro chipped in 11 points for Middletown South, which closed out the win by going 11-for-12 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.
Senior Colin Byrne scored a game-high 27 points to carry the Middletown North scoring.
No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 60, Matawan 48
Senior David Carr scored a game-high 18 points and the Bulldogs (4-1) worked their way past the Huskies (1-5).
Junior Luke Lydon added 13 points and classmate Luke Cruz netted 12 for Rumson, which turned a six-point halftime deficit into an 20-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Senior Jayden Elijah scored 13 points and junior Colin Reitmann chipped in 11 to lead Matawan.

Junior Kai Arrington scored 16 points and the Red Raiders (5-1) took down the Spartans (0-7) on the road. Seniors Nico Dispenza added 14 points and Andrei Matthews chipped in 13 for Keyport.
