Senior Justin Fuerbacher scored 16 points to help the Colts (4-2, 1-0) shake off a slow start and storm past the Mustangs (3-6, 0-1).
Senior Kevin Pikiell added 13 points, junior Connor Andree netted 12 and senior Charlie Messano chipped in nine for CBA, which trailed, 13-12, after the first quarter and blew the game open with a 26-9 run during the third quarter.
Sophomore Dylan McEwan scored 16 points and classmate Nolan Gong added 13 to lead Marlboro.
Class A Coastal
No. 6 Red Bank 62, Red Bank Catholic 52
Senior Ryan Fisher scored 14 of his game-high 19 points in the second half and the Bucs (8-0, 1-0) absorbed a hot-shooting start by the Caseys (5-3, 0-1) win win the rivalry match-up and remain unbeaten.
Fisher added six rebounds, while classmate Zayier Dean chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Fisher hit the short jumper that gave Red Bank the lead for good at 51-50 and Dean buried a three-pointer that stretched the lead to 54-50. Dean also assisted a three-pointer by sophomore Justin Valentino that gave Red Bank a 57-52 lead to effectively put the game away with 1:08 left.

Valentino contributed eight points and four assists, senior Anthony Moore scored nine points and sophomore Will Galligan poured in 10 points off the bench — including eight in the first half.
Senior Sean Saxton led Red Bank Catholic with 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists, with classmate Ryan Prior also chipping in 12 points and seven rebounds. Junior Jake Frankel and sophomore Gavin Biasi each added nine points for RBC, which hit its first five three-point attempts in the game before cooling off with 12 straight misses from beyond the arc.
No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 50, St. John Vianney 30
Junior Luke Cruz scored a game-high 19 points, junior Luke Lydon added 10 and the Bulldogs (5-1, 1-0) raced out to a 16-2 lead in the first quarter on the way to a road win over the Lancers (4-5, 0-1).
Class A Central
Brick Memorial 68, Howell 59
Juniors Nyzier Matthews and Sean Collins each posted a double-double and the Mustangs (7-2, 1-0) outlasted the Rebels (3-4, 0-2). Matthews put up 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Colins racked up 16 points, 11 rebounds, six steals and two blocked shots.
Senior Joe Witter nearly made it a double-double trifecta for Brick Memorial in contributing 11 points and eight rebounds.
Senior Peter Barkauskas led Howell with 19 points, while senior Zach Padilla poured in 16 and sophomore Noah Musto netted 10 in the loss.
No. 1 St. Rose 84, Point Boro 51
Junior Jayden Hodge put up 20 points, five rebounds and six assists to lead four St. Rose players in double-figure scoring and the Purple Roses (5-3, 3-0) handed the Panthers (7-1, 0-1) their first loss of the season.
Sophomore Avery Lynch added 16 points and three assists, senior Evan Romano posted 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, and junior Tyler Cameron went for 10 points, six rebounds and three steals for St. Rose. Junior O’Rien Campbell also scored eight points and sophomore Tyler Hager contributed five points, eight rebounds and five steals in the win.
Sophomore Hunter Hynes scored 17 points to lead Point Boro and senior Drew Cardia added 11 in the loss.
No. 2 Manasquan 63, Jackson Memorial 40
Sophomore Rey Weinseimer pumped in 26 points and the Warriors (7-1, 1-1) cruised to a win over the Jaguars (1-7, 0-1) at home.
Sophomore Logan Cleveland added 10 points and senior Matteo Chiarella came off the bench to chip in seven for Manasquan. Junior Yaseer Johnson scored 11 points to lead Jackson Memorial, while classmate Jimmy Pappalardo added 10 and fellow junior Randy Holmes netted nine in the loss.
Class A South
No. 9 Southern 64, Manchester 50
Sophomore Noah Perna scored 20 points to go with seven rebounds and junior teammate Jake Sliwinski threw in 17 points as the dynamic duo led the Rams (6-2, 1-0) to a win over the Hawks (1-7, 0-1).
Sophomore Spencer Walsh added nine points and six rebounds and seniors Cooper Dempsey and Rob Kelsey chipped in eight points apiece for Southern, with Dempsey also contributing six rebounds and three assists.
Senior Aidan Lunn led four Manchester players in double-figure scoring with 14 points, with senior M.J. Goins and freshman Justin Roberts each adding 13.
No. 4 Central 43, Toms River North 35
Senior Royalty Riley scored 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out three assists and forced four steals to carry the Golden Eagles (6-1, 1-0) to a win over the Mariners (3-4, 0-1) in an Class A South rivalry showdown.
Senior Aidan Graham added eight points for Central, which overcame a quiet scoring night by top scorers Jaycen Santucci (four points, five assists) and Jayson King (five points).
Sophomore Jackson Sias scored 11 points and freshman Jake Greenberg pitched in eight to lead Toms River North.
Donovan Catholic 73, Toms River South 58
Junior Pat Gallo led a balanced scoring effort with 15 points and the Griffins (3-6, 1-0) ran wild on the Indians (2-5, 0-1) during the first half en route to a win.
Senior Derek Espinelli netted 12 points, senior James Gibbons dropped 10 and senior Jaedin Morales contributed 10 for Donovan Catholic, which bulldozed its way to a 45-19 lead by halftime thanks to a 28-9 second quarter.
Junior Shane Gambarony scored 14 points and classmate Kharii Pringle added 10 to lead Toms River South.
Class B Central
Neptune 57, Jackson Liberty 40
Senior JayVion Rogers scored a game-high 18 points and the Scarlet Fliers (6-1, 1-0) continued their strong start to the season by upending the Lions (1-3, 0-1).
Senior Darren Fonrose added 14 points, senior Jayden Myrthil netted 13 and senior Jarren Reid contributed eight points and seven rebounds for Neptune. Sophomore Aidan Kelly scored 13 points and senior Corey Hartnett chipped in 10 to lead Jackson Liberty.
Point Beach 89, New Egypt 51
Sophomore Tyler Preston scored 14 of his career-high 30 points during the first quarter and the Garnet Gulls (4-4, 1-0) overwhelmed the Warriors (2-5, 0-1) during the first eight minutes on the way to a lopsided win.
Preston’s hot start was part of a 23-2 Point Beach run during the duration of the first quarter and junior Jacob Edgecomb scored 14 of his 21 points during a 29-point third quarter by the Garnet Gulls. Sophomore George Breckenridge added 11 points and senior Scot Crowley chipped in nine in the win.
Junior Nolan Arnold led New Egypt with 20 points, while classmate Ryan Reynolds added 13 and fellow junior Clyde Ferris netted 11 in the loss.
Class B South
Brick 52, Lacey 39
Sophomore Jamel Pitts scored a game-high 21 points and senior Jayden Johnson filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to lead the Green Dragons (4-5, 1-0) to a win over the Lions (2-4, 0-1).
Sophomore Sean Nausedas pitched in nine points for Brick. Senior Jon Stabile headlined the Lacey effort with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
Pinelands 51, Barnegat 39
Senior Ty Kline scored a game-high 24 points and the Wildcats (5-2, 1-0) put the Bengals (4-4, 0-1) away with a strong second half (28-17) to earn a win in the division-opener for both teams.
Junior Josh Barongo reached a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds and senior teammate Tyler McNally-Ferguson added eight points and seven assists for Pinelands.
Non-Division
Wall 56, Monmouth 28
Senior Tom Ekberg scored 12 points and junior Dan Hennessy pitched in nine points and seven rebounds to lead the Crimson Knights (7-2) over the Falcons (0-8) for their sixth straight win.
Senior Brian McKenna added eight points for Wall, which hammered Monmouth, 35-7, during the first half. Junior Michael Griffin led Monmouth with eight points.
