Group A
No. 7 Toms River East 5, Donovan Catholic 1
Senior Tommy Renkin scored the first two goals of the second half and classmate Luke Bodziak followed with a hat trick in a span of 20 minutes as the Raiders erupted for five second-half goals to down the Griffins.
Junior Max Durazzo scored the lone Donovan Catholic goal.
Group B
Middletown South 3, Monmouth 1
Sophomore Brody Illingworth and juniors Jorge Xmil Caranzzo and Matteo Gallina each scored a goal and the Eagles upended the Falcons to inch closer to an SCT berth.
Junior Dimitrious Papantoniou scored for Monmouth.
St. John Vianney 3, Manchester 2
Junior Mason Boles scored all of St. John Vianney’s goals to collect a hat trick and the Lancers held off the Hawks for a pivotal SCT group-stage victory.
Boles converted a pair of penalty kicks and also scored off a pass from Shayan Katiraei.
Junior Brayden Kurak scored both Manchester goals, the first of which came off a pass from senior Aidan Clauburg to cut St. John Vianney’s lead to 2-1 late in the first half. Kurak later nailed a direct kick to pull the Hawks within 3-2.
Group C
Central 2, Red Bank 1 (OT)
Sophomore Danny Palheta scored the game-tying goal in the second half and junior Ilyas Ciltepe finished the golden goal in overtime time to help the Golden Eagles complete a come-from-behind win in critical SCT group-stage match.
Senior Jordan Benzon set up Palheta’s equalizer and senior Dillon Konfederak found Ciltepe for his second golden goal of the season. Junior Alex Salvo gave Red Bank a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first half.
Group D
Toms River South 3, Matawan 1
A red card for denying a goal-scoring opportunity shorted Matawan a player for the final 40-plus minutes and the Indians capitalized by rallying for a win over the Huskies.
Senior Noah Beaton tied the game off a pass from senior Robert Boemio and Toms River South took the lead when senior Caden Langan off another cross from Boemio. Senior Anthony Johnson put the game away with a deflected shot that found the back of the net, with senior Jake Hall feeding him the pass that set it up.
Sophomore Nick Romero staked Matawan to a 1-0 lead off a pass from senior Nico Skeete.

No. 9 Southern 4, Asbury Park 1
No. 4 Ocean 3, Brick Memorial 0
Senior Ryan Fernandes, sophomore Connor Shaw and freshman Zach Sutton each scored a goal and the Spartans bounced back from Wednesday’s loss to St. John Vianney by blanking the Mustangs.
Group F
Point Boro 3, Barnegat 2
Senior Garrett Gurzo scored the winning goal off a pass from senior Liam Shand in the 76th minute and the Panthers preserved their hopes of an SCT berth by clipping the Bengals.
Point Boro senior Dean Cardia scored off a pass from senior Ty Friedman to tie the game, 1-1, in the 28th minute. The Panthers followed that up with a go-ahead goal in the 55th, which junior Jake Greene finished for a 2-1 Point Boro lead.
Freehold Boro 4, Keyport 0
Ryan Dominguez and Humberto Hernandez scored in the first half and Kristian and Klodian Jaku each scored a goal in the second as the Colonials coasted to a win over the Red Raiders.

Wall 7, Pinelands 0
Sophomore Kevin Anderson scored a goal and assisted two others as the Crimson Knights rode seven different goal-scorers to a shutout win over the Wildcats.
Senior Robert Keegan and sophomore Shane Womack each posted a goal and an assist, while seniors Mike Southwell, Jesus Chaves-Fernandez, Brody Burns and Andrew Vario each chipped in a goal. Sophomore Nick Herrera dished out two assists as well for Wall.

Jackson Memorial 7, Henry Hudson 0
No. 8 Manalapan 5, Lakewood 3
Junior Ethan Lustig recorded a hat trick and both Jon Luz and Dan Altman each added a goal and an assist to help the Braves escape with a win over the Piners. Senior Christian Laverde also dished out two assists for Manalapan.
Group I
No. 1 Colts Neck 7, Red Bank Catholic 1
Sean and Kyle Moore each scored two more goals and the Cougars rolled to a win over the Caseys. C.J. Collins and Jonah Chiang each added a goal and Griffin Walsh knocked in his first career goal. Ben Kazai pitched in two assists for Colts Neck as well.
Raritan 4, Jackson Liberty 2
Senior Sean Burnett converted the go-ahead penalty kick in the 68th minute and senior Eion Davis scored his second goal of the match two minutes later to seal a critical win for the Rockets over the Lions in the battle for one of the SCT berths out of Group I.
Davis opened the scoring off a pass from Burnett in the 20th minute before senior Tyler Mirao drew Jackson Liberty even in the 48th.
Senior Jake Bennett gave Raritan the lead right back with a goal in the 50th, which Jackson Liberty again answered — this time with a penalty kick by senior Rich Kosek in the 58th.
It took 10 minutes for Burnett to get that penalty kick back for Raritan and junior Owen Brackett set up the final goal by Davis.

Long Branch 2, North Hunterdon 1
Carlos Andre Rodas scored off a pass from Chris De Oliveira Santos and Brendan Mendoza finished off a pass from Thomas Silva Ferreira to give the Green Wave a win over the Lions with two second-half goals.
No. 6 Toms River North 4, Allentown 1
Senior Christian Assante scored two goals and classmate James Homyak assisted one of them before scoring one of his own as the Mariners pulled away with a win over the Redbirds.
Senior Frank Toledo also assisted one of Assante’s goals and senior Cristian Caso scored the other Toms River North goal off a pass from senior Mike Venegas.
No. 5 CBA 1, Monroe 0
Senior Owen Wierman scored the game-winning goal in the 66th minute and the Colts topped the Falcons for their fourth straight win. Senior Nick Tesauro cross the ball to Wierman, who buried a shot into the corner of the goal to break a scoreless deadlock past the midway point of the second half.
Shore 7, Piscataway Magnet 0
Senior Jadyn DeRosa scored two goals and assisted another as the Blue Devils rolled to a win over Piscataway Magnet. Sophomore Silvio Pessoa assisted each of DeRosa’s goals to open the scoring before notching one of his own to make it 4-0. Senior Stephen Molnar was the benefactor of DeRosa’s assist, which put Shore ahead, 3-0.
