No. 1 Red Bank Catholic 50, South Shore 37
Red Bank Catholic started strong by opening up a 20-6 1st quarter lead before South Shore clawed back to cut the deficit to 24-20 at the half. A strong 4th quarter propelled the Caseys to a double-digit victory. Junior Addy Nyemchek led the Caseys with 19 points while Senior Christina Liggio added 11 points and Junior Daniela Maletsky chipped in with 8 points in the victory. RBC is now 3-0 on the season.
No. 2 St. John Vianney 54, No. 3 St. Rose 48
The Lancers fought back from an 18-9 deficit at the end of the 1st quarter to top the Roses in a battle of top ranked teams. Junior Stella Lockhart led St. John Vianney with 15 points and 7 rebounds while Junior Madison Kocis added 11 points and Junior Taylor Sofilkanich recorded a 10 point and 10 rebound double-double in the victory.

The Jaguars had three players score in double-digits to win for the second time over Matawan in the opening week of the season. Freshman Kayla Matos and sophomore Natalie Bowes both had team-highs of 18 points. Bowes posted a double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds. Sophomore Cali Brown added 14 points and had 4 steals along with Matos. Jackson Memorial plays Freehold Boro in the quarterfinals on Friday at 5 p.m.

No. 4 Red Bank Regional 52, Atlantic City 36
Red Bank Regional kept Atlantic City at an arm’s length for the majority of the game behind a game-high 19 points from Junior Synai Blychanton. Senior Caroline Polloway added an 11 point and 10 rebound double-double while Junior Zoey Gulley chipped in with 9 points and 7 rebounds in the victory for the Bucs. RBR is now 3-0 on the season.
