No. 1 Manasquan 42, Wall 22
Manasquan shut Wall out in the second quarter and held to just four first half points to win their 14th game of the season. Junior Jordyn Hollawell scored a game-high 10 points and Shannon Looney added 7 points for the Warriors. Manasquan had 10 different scorers with six scoring four or more points.
No. 4 St. Rose 84, Jackson Memorial 41
St. Rose had four different players score double-digits on their way to their 15th win of the season. Junior Jada Lynch scored a game-high 21 points and both Cassidy Kruesi and Brooke Missry knocked down three 3-points. Kruisi finished with 17 points and Missry added 15 points. Kaylee Ambos scored a game-high 12 points and Kayla Matos added 11 points for Jackson Memorial.
No. 6 Howell 56, Neptune 40
Trailing by seven points after the first quarter, Howell battled back to take a four point lead into halftime and outscored Neptune 21-5 in the third quarter to win their 13th game of the season. Kiera McKown posted a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds, she also had 7 blocks to lead Howell. Junior BellaRose Marino scored 14 points and Kylee Beam added 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for the Rebels. Senior Christa Ramos scored a team-high 12 points for Neptune.
Class A Coastal
No. 2 Red Bank Catholic 66, No. 9 Rumson-Fair Haven 37
RBC lead by three points after a close first half, but the Caseys outscored Rumson 27-2 in the third quarter to win their 15th game of the season. Senior Tessa Carman scored a team-high 13 points and went 7-for-7 at the free-throw line. Christina Liggio converted two 3-pointers and scored 12 points and Sophie Smith added 10 points for RBC. Junior Erin Reid scored a game-high 13 points and Grace Smith added 12 points for Rumson.
No. 3 St. John Vianney 68, Holmdel 29
The Lancers jumped out to a 23-5 lead in the first quarter on their way to winning their 16th game of the season. Juniors Madison Kocis and Taylor Sofilkanich both scored 12 points for SJV and Antonia Jackson added 9 points.
Class A North
No. 8 Trinity Hall 53, Colts Neck 30
Tied 14-14 after the first quarter, Trinity Hall outscored Colts Neck 14-5 in the second quarter and 11-5 in the third quarter to win their 14th game of the season. Junior Grace Feeney scored a game-high 22 points for the Monarchs.
Class A South
Manchester 64, Donovan Catholic 50
Trailing by four points at halftime, Manchester outscored Donovan 20-7 in the third quarter on their way to their 10th win of the season. Sophomore Madeline Nolan knocked down five 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 25 points and Jesse Sarana added 15 points for Manchester. Sophomore Sarah Franks scored a team-high 14 points for Donovan.
Southern 61, Toms River North 35
Southern built a 29-10 lead at halftime and increased it in the second half to win their 7th game of the season. Senior Casey Collins knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 27 points and Samantha Russell added 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Southern.
Toms River East 46, Central Regional 27
Leading by nine points going into the fourth quarter, the Raiders closed out the game by outscoring Central 14-4 in the fourth quarter to win their 12th game in a row. Sophomore Kacey Briles scored a game-high 14 points and Adriana Cruz added 11 points for TRE.
Class B Central
New Egypt 67, Jackson Liberty 21
New Egypt jumped out to a 20-6 lead in the first quarter and kept building on it to win their 5th game of the season. Junior Olivia Stillwell scored a career-high 30 points and Madison Adam added 15 points for the Warriors. Freshman Peyton Lohman scored a game-high 10 points for Jackson Liberty,
Point Beach 44, Brick Memorial 22
Point Beach built at 10-5 lead after the first quarter and continued to build on to win their 12th game of the season. Senior Erin Frauenheim scored a game-high 10 points for Point Beach. Maggie Leach led Brick Memorial with 8 points.
Brick Township 56, Pinelands 11
Brick held Pinelands to five first half points to win their 10th game of the season. Freshman Ariana Wissen scored a game-high 19 points and Chase Stansbury added 8 points for the Dragons.
Class B South
Lacey 52, Toms River South 49
Lacey was able to hang on and win their 10th game of the season after leading by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter against division rival TRS. Reece Paget posted a double with 16 points and 20 rebounds and Brooklyn Bell, who battled foul trouble all game, scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Marisa Flores was the floor general for the Lions, dishing out 9 assists.
TRS was led by Daniella Gordon with 20 points and Linsey Cribbin with 17 points. The Indians defense forced several turnovers in the final quarter with Gordon finishing with 8 steals.
Non-Divisional
Matawan 32, Monmouth 28
Six different players scored in Matawan’s victory over Monmouth. Jazlyn Frederick scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Huskies to their 7th win of the season. Junior Emma Riccardi scored a team-high 10 points for Monmouth.
Non-Conference
Barnegat 63, Pemberton 27
A dominant first half by Barnegat gave them their 14th win of the season. Barnegat led 49-16 at halftime, outscoring Pemberton 20-4 in the second quarter. Senior Zemirah Enalls posted a double-double with 18 points and 19 rebounds and Riley Fitzpatrick added 13 points and had 4 assists for Barnegat.
Henry Hudson 54, Academy Charter 26
Henry Hudson jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter and sealed the game with a 15-2 third quarter to win their 3rd game of the season. Freshman Leah Curry set a career-high with 17 points and Erin Mahoney added 14 points for Henry Hudson.
