Jackson Liberty built a six point lead going into the fourth quarter and held on to win their first game of the season. Junior Sophia Porter scored a team-high 11 points and Arihianna Douriet added 8 points for the Lions. Mariah Wilson scored a game-high 12 points for Asbury Park.

Toms River South 55, Toms River North 52

Trailing by 12 going into the fourth quarter, TRS closed out the game on a 20-11 run to beat rival TRN. Sophomore Linsey Cribbin went a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line and finished with a career-high 25 points and Carly Helmstetter added 12 points for the Indians. Senior Kiera Blum scored a team-high 14 points and Cara Sarluca added 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds for TRN.
