Shore Conference Girls Lacrosse Freshman of the Year: Addison Frulio, Central
Rarely does a freshman come into a season and lead their team in almost every major statistical category while delivering a divisional championship. Central midfielder Addison Frulio did just that, earning our 2025 Shore Conference Girls Lacrosse Freshman of the Year award.

Central Addison Frulio
Central finished the season 13-7 overall while winning the Colonial Division with a 6-1 mark within the division. Individually, Frulio had an outstanding season, scoring 77 points on 61 goals and 16 assists along with registering 81 ground balls, 115 draw controls (a new school record), and 17 forced turnovers. Frulio’s most impressive game occurred in April when she scored a season-high 10 goals in a 15-14 victory over Wall. She recorded 9 total hat tricks on the season including 6 goal efforts against Toms River North and Holmdel, a 5 goal effort against Brick Memorial, and 4 goals against Point Beach and Ocean.

Central Regional’s Addison Frulio
“Addison is the type of athlete every program hopes to build around” said Central Head Coach Ciara Kvalheim. “Her work ethic is unmatched, she’s highly coachable, and her positive attitude is contagious. She not only elevates her own game but also makes everyone around her better. Her performance speaks for itself — breaking the single-season draw control record at Central Regional as a freshman is an extraordinary achievement. Addison’s potential is limitless, and I’m grateful to be part of her journey.”
In addition to starring on the lacrosse field, Frulio was the starting goalie on the soccer team and ran several events in indoor track team including the 400m.
