Class A North

No. 2 Howell 5, No. 9 Freehold Township 1

Junior Makenzie Memmolo scored two goals and tallied an assist to lead the Rebels (7-1, 4-0) past the Patriots (4-4-2, 1-3). Senior Veronica Nieves and sophomores Isabella Farinick and Quinn Merkel each added a goal. Sophomore Claudia Kuklinski tallied an assist.

No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 2, No. 4 Middletown South 1

Senior forward Paige Foye scored two goals as the Caseys (8-2, 3-2) earned a critical divisional win over the Eagles (5-3, 2-3). Junior defender Tina Mojares and sophomore midfielder Lexi Sinatra each tallied an assist.

 

Class A Central

Ocean 7, Monmouth 0

Junior Mia Fiorentino erupted for a career-high five goals and tallied an assist as the Spartans (2-9-1) cruised past the Falcons (4-5, 0-4). Junior Erin Toppi scored the first two goals of the game before Fiorentino scored five straight. Junior Ryan Ippolito distributed three assists. Juniors Cara Crouthamel and Ainslie McCourt as well as sophomore Erin Decker each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Grace Fuller recorded four saves in the shutout.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3, St. John Vianney 2

Junior Jordyn Sullivan registered two goals as the Bulldogs (7-3, 4-0) battled past the Lancers (5-4, 2-1). Junior forward Summer O’Malley also added a goal and an assist while juniors Ella Lastorino and Ella Peoples each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Ella Curran and junior goalie Lexi Brisman both registered three saves.

Junior Gabby Parker scored two goals in the loss.

Marlboro 2, Colts Neck 1

Marlboro (4-3-1) picked up the division with goals from Olivia DeAlmedia and Emma Johnson. Ava Zalika made 10 saves for the Mustangs to earn the win in goal.

Victoria Beninato scored off an assist from Lilah Calhoun for Colts Neck (4-5).

 

Class A South

Lacey 2, Jackson 1

Senior Olivia Miller scored two second half goals to rally the Lions (6-4, 2-3) in a win over the Jaguars (4-5, 1-4). Freshman Natalie Monica recorded an assist. Senior goalie Ava Schmidt registered seven saves in the win.

Junior forward Ella Cooke scored the lone goal for the Jaguars in the loss while senior goalie Julianna Old recorded eight saves.

No. 5 Central 2, No. 6 Point Boro 0

The Golden Eagles (7-0-1, 4-0-1) topped the Panthers (7-1, 4-1) in a battle of unbeatens. Sophomore midfielder Ava Bozinis scored a first half goal while senior Nicole Kangas scored on a header off a corner kick from junior midfielder Leah DiCillo. Central Regional clinched the Class A South with the victory.

No. 7 Toms River South 6, Brick Memorial 0

Sophomore Emma Turnbach scored two goals to lead a multitude of scorers as the Indians (5-2-1, 3-1-1) cruised past the Mustangs (1-7, 0-5). Juniors Brooke Clayton, Stephanie Fullen, and Fiona McGrath as well as sophomore Elizabeth Cox each chipped in with a goal. Sophomore goalie Reese Lindemann saved three shots in the shutout.

 

Class B North

Freehold Boro 1, Raritan 0

A first half goal from freshman Mandi Guo proved to be the difference as the Colonials (6-4, 3-2) blanked the Rockets (4-5, 2-3). Junior goalie Makayla Koltunicki saved four shots in the shutout.

Red Bank 5, St. Rose 0

Shore 2, Holmdel 1 (OT)

Senior Tori Spadavecchia scored the golden goal eight minutes into overtime and the Blue Devils (5-4) pulled through with a win over the Hornets (4-4).

The goal was the third of the season for Spadavecchia, who is back on the field for her senior year after missing her junior season while recovering from the second torn ACL of her high-school career. Spadavecchia also missed her freshman year with the same injury.

Senior Jenna Eichenbaum broke a scoreless tie with a goal midway through the second half before Holmdel scored the equalizer 10 minutes later on an own goal to force extra time.

 

Class B Central

Neptune 1, Ranney 0

Junior Madison Ellis found senior forward Ellie Gomez for a second half game-winning goal as the Scarlet Fliers (4-4-1, 4-0-1) defeated the Panthers (4-5, 3-2). Freshman goalie Meghan Rogers recorded eight saves in the victory.

Matawan 6, Long Branch 2

A hat trick from sophomore forward Emilia Janiszewski guided the Huskies (6-2-1, 4-0-1) past the Green Wave (2-6, 2-3). Janiszewski finished with three goals and an assist. Junior Rylie Signorile added two goals while freshman LaLa Edwards added a goal and an assist. Junior midfielder Avery Cali tallied two assists while senior Hannah Mandeville and junior Paitynn Cali each tallied an assist. Junior goalie Elyssa Jamandron saved four shots in the win.

Keyport at Asbury Park, 4 p.m.

 

Class B South

Manchester 2, Point Beach 1 (2OT)

Senior Alexa Wnek found junior forward Gracie Maurer for a golden goal as the Hawks (5-4, 1-3) earned their first divisional victory against the Garnet Gulls (3-8, 1-4). Senior Madison Cubbison found junior Madeline Nolan for a second half goal to give the Hawks the lead before the Garnet Gulls tied the game up on a goal from senior Baileigh Johnson to force overtime.

Junior goalie Gabriella Dew recorded nine saves in the victory for the Hawks.

Southern 2, Barnegat 0

The Rams (4-4, 3-2) earned a victory over the Bengals (7-5, 2-3) behind first half goals from freshman Lily Atkins and sophomore Riley Neyer. Sophomore forward Tianna Tapia-Mendez assisted on both goals. Junior goalie Jacklynn Donnelly saved six shots in the shutout.

 

Class C South

Pinelands 6, Lakewood 0

Six different players registered a goal as the Wildcats (1-9, 1-3) earned their first victory of the season against the Piners (1-7, 0-4). Seniors Abby Amato and Kate Dillinger both scored a goal and tallied an assist. Junior Madison Bush as well as sophomores Isabella Cooper, Ava Plant, and Emily Rockeskey each finished with a goal. Sophomore goalie Kyrie Baggett recorded three saves in the shutout.

New Egypt 1, Donovan Catholic 0

Senior goalie Maya Czarnowski recorded 16 saves and senior Alexis Ulikowski found senior Emily Ferreira for a second half goal to lift the Warriors (6-3-1, 3-0-1) past the Griffins (2-5, 2-2) for their third straight victory.

 

Nonconference

No. 8 Trinity Hall 6, Rahway 0

Sophomore Kaylee Davis scored two goals to lead a myriad of scorers as the Monarchs (9-1-1) raced past the Indians (4-4). Senior Caroline Ferguson added a goal and two assists while juniors Kailyn Fitzgerald and Eva Shaughnessy added a goal and an assist. Freshman Bette Kane also added a goal. Senior Maris Child and junior Maeve Bradley both tallied an assist. Senior Emily Venezia saved one shot in the shutout.
