Group 3

St. John Vianney 1, Shore 0

Senior Caitlin Smith scored a second half goal on a pass from sophomore Giulianna Goldberg to lead the Lancers (2-2) past the Blue Devils (2-1) in Shore Conference tournament pool play. Senior goalie Sofia Donello saved 3 shots in the victory.

 

Non-Divisional

Ocean 6, Pinelands 0

The Spartans (1-4) scored five first half goals to win their first game of the season against the Wildcats (0-5). Mia Fiorentino scored a hat-trick and had two assists in the victory for the Spartans. Lucy Wood added two goals and Erin Decker had two assists for Ocean.

St. Rose 5, Neptune 1

The Purple Roses (1-4) earned their first win of the season over the Scarlet Fliers (1-2) behind a pair of goals from senior Hope Perry and sophomore Kelsey Nitche. Senior midfielder Erin Dwyer would score the lone goal in the first half off of a pass from sophomore Sarah Hariegel before Perry and Nitche’s goals put the game out of reach in the second half. Senior Stephanie Vitale and freshman Shona Madden each tallied an assist. Sophomore goalie Chloe Kaczka recorded 6 saves in the victory.

No. 1 Manalapan 1, Rumson-Fair Haven 0

Guilianna Naletilic scored a goal the games lone goal in the first half from 30 yards out to give Manalapan (4-0) their fourth win of the season. Rumson (2-3) appeared to score the equalizer with 10 minutes left, but the goal was called back for offsides.

 

Non-Conference

No. 6 Trinity Hall 3, Robbinsville 0

The Monarchs (3-1) rebounded off their loss on Thursday to shutout Robbinsville in a non-conference victory. Caroline Ferguson scored her third goal of the season for the Monarchs and Kaylee Davis scored a goal and assisted on another. Emily Venezia earned the victory and combined for a shutout with Anna Martin.

Freehold Boro 8, J.P. Stevens 1

Sophomore Alison Espinoza scored a hat-trick to lead Freehold Boro (3-3) to a non-conference victory. Shea Patmore scored a goal and assisted on three others and Abigail Atkinson scored one goal and had two assists.
