Shore Conference Tournament

Group 1

Lacey 2, Point Beach 1

Senior Olivia Miller scored the game winner in the 70th minute to give Lacey (2-1) their first in SCT Group 1. Riley Simonson scored the equalizer for Lacey two minutes after Point Beach (1-3) took a 1-0 lead in the first half. Katie Kirchner scored the lone goal for Point Beach.

No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 7, St. Rose 0

RBC (3-1) scored all seven goals in the first half to rebound off Tuesdays loss to No. 1 Manalapan. Freshman Molly Denver scored two goals, giving her four on the season, and assisted on another goal for the Caseys. Maryland commit added two goals, giving her five on the season.

 

Group 2

No. 1 Manalapan 6, Raritan 0

Senior Daniella Butash scored two goals in her second straight game to help top ranked Manalapan (3-0) earn three points in SCT Group 2. Guilianna Naletilic assisted on three goals and Olivia Ziobro scored a goal and had an assist for the Braves.

 

Group 3

Freehold Township 4, Southern 0

Freehold Township (1-2-1) scored two goals in each half to win their first game of the season. Freshman Morgan Notaro continues her hot start, adding two more goals to her total and assisting on another. Junior Violet Matthews earns her first shutout of the season for the Patriots.

 

Group 4

No. 9 Toms River South at Colts Neck, 4 p.m. (rescheduled for 10/10)

No. 2 Middletown South 5, Holmdel 1

 

Group 5

Manasquan 2,  Ocean 0

Sophomore Cassidy Eastmond scored a goal in both halves to give Manasquan (3-0) the shutout victory. Senior Jordyn Hollawell assisted on both goals for the Warriors and Madeline Petrulla earned her third shutout of the season.

No. 3 Central 3, Red Bank Regional 0

 

Group 6

No. 5 Wall 5, Manchester 1

Wall (2-1) scored three first half goals and added two more in the second half to rebound off their shutout loss to Howell on Tuesday. Five different players score for the Knights with Madison Miller scoring the second goal of the game and assisting on another. Junior Madeline Nolan scored the goal for Manchester (2-2), her 4th of the season.

Marlboro 3, Brick Memorial 1

Marlboro (2-1) scored two goals in the first half and added an insurance goal in the second half to earn three points in SCT Group 6. Freshmen Olivia DeAlmedia and Mia Ortizio both scored in the first half for the Mustangs. Senior Makayla Doheny scored Brick Memorial’s (0-3) lone goal in the first half.

 

Group 7

Middletown North 4, No. 6 Trinity Hall 2

Middletown North (4-0) came back from trailing by a goal two times today and scored four second half goals to remain undefeated. Junior Sofia Chaknis scored the first equalizer four minutes into the second half then scored the Lions third goal and game winner with 11:32 left. Freshman Charlie Brink scored the Lions fourth goal and assisted the first goal by Chaknis.

Caroline Ferguson scored the games first goal for Trinity Hall (2-1) 1:21 into the game. Freshman Bette Kane scored the Monarchs second goal in the second half. (Full Story to come later)

No. 7 Howell 7,  Barnegat 1

Makenzie Memmolo and Isabella Farinick continue to be a dangerous duo for Howell (3-0), scoring two goals each in their SCT Group 7 game. Memmolo, who raised her goal total to 5, also assisted on a goal for the Rebels. Freshman Alyssa Skierski had three assists for Howell. Junior Jayla Duff scored her sixth goal of the season for Barnegat (4-2).

 

Group 8

No. 8 Point Boro 6, Freehold Boro 0

Point Boro (2-0) had their second game in a row end due to the new mercy rule. Senior Elise Viggiano had her second consecutive hat-trick for the Panthers and Maddie Renna assisted on five of the six goals.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3,  Toms River North 1

Duke commit Jordyn Sullivan scored two goals to help Rumson (2-2) get back to .500 and earn three points in Group 8. Junior Summer O’Malley scored the other goal for the Bulldogs and Victoria Santos had an assist. Ella Felicetta scored TRN’s (1-4) lone goal.

 

Non-Divisional

Lakewood 6, Asbury Park 3

New Egypt 6, Ranney 4

Trailing 3-2 at halftime, New Egypt (2-1) scored four second half goals to win their second game of the season. Madison Adam scored two goals for the Warriors and Alexis Ulikowski added two more and had an assist. Senior Julia Schorr also scored and had two assists in the game.

Monmouth 3, Matawan 0

Monmouth (3-1) scored one goal in the first half and added two more in the second half to hand Matawan (3-1) their first defeat of the season. Julianna Emerson scored a goal and assisted on another for Monmouth.
