Scoreless at halftime, Freehold Township (7-10-2) got a second-half goal from Senior Reese Metcalfe in the 49th minute to send the Patriots into the second-round of the CJG4. Freshman Brielle Gorton had the assist for Freehold Township. The Patriots will play the winner of the (3) Old Bridge/(14) New Brunswick game.
South Jersey Group 2
(5) Barnegat 6, (12) Overbrook 0
Barnegat (12-9) scored three goals in both halves to advance into the second-round of SJG4. Junior Jayla Duff scored two goals and Kylei Grant scored a goal and assisted on two others for Barnegat. Ella Tortorici made three saves to earn her six shutout of the season. Barnegat will play the winner of the (4) Seneca/(13) Middle Township game in the second-round.

(7) Doane Academy 4, (10) Ranney 3 (2OT)
Ranney (6-11) fell short in double overtime after trailing 2-1 at halftime to be eliminated from the SJNPB sectional. Freshman Mary Cate Leidersdorff scored her 16th goal of the season and Nadia Charter and Yasmeen Kahn both added goals for Ranney. Freshman Holden Chropuvka made 8 saves for Ranney.
