No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 2, Point Beach 1

The Caseys (6-1) held off the Garnet Gulls (1-6) on goals from senior forward Liv Racioppi and junior forward Mia Cupo.

 

Group 2

Toms River East at No. 1 Manalapan, PPD

Raritan 6, Ranney 1

Sophomore Carina Szorosy exploded for a career-high 4 goals and an assist as the Rockets (3-2) flew past the Panthers (2-4). Freshman Sienna Kelly added 2 goals of her own along with an assist. Senior midfielder Morgan Rafferty and freshman Keira Davis each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Hayden Shea saved 4 shots while freshman Layla Sedlak saved 5 shots in the victory.

Shore at Freehold Township, 4 p.m, PPD (9/18)

Colts Neck at No. 2 Middletown South, PPD

No. 3 Central 3, Ocean 0

Junior midfielder Leah DiCillo scored 2 goals and tallied an assist as the Golden Eagles (4-0-1) blanked the Spartans (1-6). Sophomore midfielder Sophia Napolitano added a goal. Senior forward Brianna Nelson and sophomore midfielder Ava Bozinis each tallied an assist. Sophomore goalie Addison Frulio recorded 1 save and junior goalie Peyton Kozelnik recorded 3 saves in the combined shutout.

Marlboro at No. 9 Wall, PPD (9/25)

No. 5 Howell 1, No. 8 Middletown North 0

Junior forward Mackenzie Memmolo found sophomore Isabella Farinick for what would be the game-winning goal in the 61st minute as the Rebels (4-0) knocked off the Lions (5-1) in a battle of unbeaten teams. Senior goalie Leila Shaw recorded 7 saves in the shutout.

Barnegat 7, Long Branch 1

Junior Jayla Duff netted a hat trick and tallied an assist as the Bengals (6-2) raced past the Green Wave (1-3) to earn a lopsided victory. Sophomore Isabella Lutcza scored a goal and tallied a career-high 4 assists. Sophomore Emma Freitas scored a goal and tallied 2 assists. Seniors Kylei Grant and Laila Turchi each added a goal. Junior goalie Ella Tortorici recorded 7 saves in the victory.

Toms River North at No. 6 Point Boro, PPD

Freehold Boro at Matawan, PPD

 

Nondivisional

Brick 3, St. Rose 2

The Dragons (2-3-1) knocked off the Purple Roses (1-6) behind three goals from three different players. Senior Erica Pokorny and sophomores Olivia Dolan and Chase Stansbury each scored a goal. Pokorny’s goal in the 60th minute broke a 2-2 tie and proved to be the winning goal. Sophomore goalie Skye Buksar recorded 6 saves in the win.

Manasquan at Jackson, PPD

Monmouth 1, New Egypt 0

A first half goal from sophomore Julianna Emerson off a pass from senior Rebecca Nemeth proved to be the game-winner as the Falcons (4-2) edged the Warriors (2-2-1).
