Junior Jayla Duff registered 2 goals and 3 assists as the Bengals (3-0) cruised past the Wildcats (0-1) to continue their hot start. Seniors Kylei Grant and Laila Turchi both chipped in with a goal along with sophomores Cadence Melillo and Emma Freitas. Junior goalie Ella Tortorici recorded a 4 saves shutout victory in the net.

Shore 3, Ocean Twp 1
A first-half scoring surge allowed the Blue Devils (1-0) to triumph over the Spartans (0-1) for their first win of the season. Sophomore Teagan Waters and freshman midfielder Julia Molnar scored the first two goals of the game to give Shore a 2-0 lead before junior Ryan Ippolito countered with a goal off an assist from junior Mia Fiorentino to cut the score to 2-1. Senior forward Jenna Eichenbaum would score Shore’s third goal of the half to put the Blue Devils ahead 3-1. Neither team would score in the second half as Shore’s freshman goalie Sydney Tilton finished the day with 10 saves.

A battle of two top ten teams did not disappoint, with the teams battling to a 1-1 draw on their opening night. Freehold Township scored the games first goal in the 14th minute, capitalizing on a misplayed ball by the TRS defender. Freshman Morgan Notaro scored her first career-goal after taking the ball away and beating Reese Lindemann in goal.
TRS had several chances in the first half to score, but the Patriot defense kept them scoreless. The Indians finally scored the equalizer with 14:50 left when Sophomore Emma Turnbach dribbled past a defender and struck the ball under the crossbar.
TRS had the better of play in overtime, but both goalies had to make a key save in the first overtime. Freehold Township goalie Violet Matthews made a save on a free-kick with 6:20 left in the first OT and Reese Lindemann had to come out to stop a Patriot counterattack with 3:20 left in the overtime.
The second overtime was all TRS, but the Patriot defense did not quit. Sophomore Daniella Gordon just missed several shots wide throughout the game for the Indians. Freehold Township will host Jackson on Friday and hosts Hopewell Valley on Saturday.

The Huskies (1-0) earned an opening day shutout victory over the Panthers (0-1) behind a 2 goal performance from junior Maggie Kauffman. Junior Avery Cali also added a goal assisted by junior Paitynn Cali.
