Toms River North 4, Freehold Boro 1
The Mariners scored four unanswered goals in the second half to win the first Shore Conference Tournament group game of the season. Ella Felicetta scored the equalizer in the opening minute in the second half and Alessandra Bell gets credit with the game-winner in the 55th minute off a corner kick. Lauren Kuhn had two assists, one being on the corner kick that ended up being the game winner.
Freehold Boro looked strong in the first half and scored the games first goal in the 22nd minute. Freshman Mandy Gua sent a corner kick into a crowded box that Ava Hernandez was able to punch in.

Barnegat 3, Monmouth 2 OT
Laila Turchi scored the golden goal to give Barnegat their second win of the season after battling Monmouth to a 2-2 tie in regulation. Junior Jayla Duff scored two goals, giving her three on the season, and added an assist for the Bengals.
Manchester 3, Brick Twp 1
Manchester scored one goal in the first half and two in the second to win their home opener. Junior Grace Maurer scored both second half goals for the Hawks and Alexa Wnek scored the opening goal. All-Shore forward Madeline Nolan had two assists in the game. Junior goalkeeper Gabriella Dew made six saves to win her first game of the season.
Sophomore Olivia Dolan scored a second half goal for Brick.
Shore Conference Girls Soccer Wednesday Scoreboard, August 27
Barnegat 6, Lakewood 0
Barnegat won the first game of the season in the Shore Conference with a 6-0 shutout against Lakewood. Junior Kayla Duff and Senior Kylei grant both scored a goal and had an assist for the Bengals.
