SSI Girls Lacrosse Top 10 Rankings for May 21
1. Rumson-Fair Haven (13-4) Last Week: 1
The Bulldogs remain No. 1 this week after winning 3 games on their way to their 3rd straight Shore Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs defeated #9 Barnegat 17-3 in the quarterfinals, #4 Shore 9-7 in the semifinals, and #3 Southern 17-7 in the finals. Senior Rachel James led the Bulldogs with 9 goals in the SCT. Ally Megaw added 7, and Mia Milkowski, Daisen Iwan, and Kat O’Connor each scored 5 in route to the championship.

2. Southern (10-6) Last Week: 4
The Rams move up to #2 this week after making a run to the SCT finals. Southern defeated #6 RBR 10-8 in the quarterfinals, #2 Trinity Hall 8-7 in the semifinals, before losing to #1 RFH 17-7 in the finals. Senior Delaney Falk led the way for the Rams with 10 goals during the SCT. Avery Smith, Meri Cassidy, and Mackenzie Sininsky each added 3 goals.

3. Trinity Hall (11-6) Last Week: 2
The Monarchs move down 1 spot this week after splitting a pair of SCT games. The Monarchs defeated #7 Manasquan 7-3 in the quarterfinals, but lost to #3 Southern 8-7 in the semifinals. Bridie Fitzgerald led the Monarchs in scoring with 4 goals in the SCT. Chiara Donohue added 3 goals, and Mary Catherine O’Connor chipped in 2.

4. Shore (13-5) Last Week: 3
The Blue Devils drop 1 spot this week after splitting a pair of SCT games. Shore defeated #5 Middletown South 8-6 in the quarterfinals before dropping the semifinal game to #1 RFH 9-7. Kendall Bennett led the Blue Devils in scoring during the SCT with 4 goals, while Cami Grella added 3 goals.

5. Middletown South (11-6) Last Week: 5
The Eagles stay #5 this week after going 2-1. The Eagles defeated Manalapan 16-5 in the SCT second round before losing in the quarterfinals to Shore 8-6. Middletown South defeated RBC 13-3 in a post SCT game. Anna Stumberger led the Eagles in scoring this week with 10 goals while Ashley Penn dropped 6 against RBC.

6. Red Bank (10-6) Last Week: 6
The Bucs stay at #6 after splitting a pair of SCT games as well as a pair of non-conference games. RBR defeated Point Boro 12-7 in the SCT second round before falling to #3 Southern 10-8 in the quarterfinals. RBR lost to Morristown 13-7 before rebounding with an 8-7 win over Mount St. Mary. Chloe Keating led the Bucs in scoring with 10 goals for the week while Maddie Pierson scored 9 and Karlie Ruland added 8.

7. Manasquan (7-10) Last Week: 7
The Warriors stay at #7 this week after splitting a pair of SCT games and dropping a pair of non-conference matchups. Manasquan defeated Toms River East 13-5 in the SCT second round before falling in the quarterfinals to #2 Trinity Hall 7-3. The Warriors dropped 2 non-conference games to strong out-of-area opponents, 10-2 to Cherokee and 11-0 to Oak Knoll. Sarah Sharpe led the Warriors with 6 goals for the week, while Ellie Sitar added 4 goals.

8. Barnegat (13-6) Last Week: 9
The Bengals move up one spot to #8 this week. The Bengals split a pair of SCT games, defeating Central 10-6 in the SCT second round before losing to #1 RFH 17-3. The Bengals split a pair of non-divisional games, losing 10-9 to RBC and defeating St Rose 17-2. Barnegat also won a non-conference game 15-5 over Egg Harbor. Ella Tortoricci and Emilia Ercolino led the Bengals with 11 goals each while both Sadie Guiro and Molly Carroll added 6 each.

9. Central (11-6) Last Week: 8
The Golden Eagles drop one spot to #9 after splitting a pair of games last week. Central lost in the SCT second round to Barnegat 10-6 before rebounding to defeat Brick Memorial 15-5. Freshman Addison Frulio led the Golden eagles with 6 goals on the week while Sam DeMarco added 4 goals.

10. Toms River East (11-6) Last Week: 10
The Raiders remain #10 this week after going 2-1 last week. Toms River East lost in the SCT second round to #7 Manasquan 13-5 before defeating Marlboro 15-2 and Lacey 14-12 in a pair of non-divisional matchups. Senior Grace Crowley led the Raiders in scoring with 10 goals in the non-divisional games, including a 9 goal explosion vs Lacey. Libby Dickman and Allison Momm both added 4 goals for the week.
