Class A South

Point Boro 3, Toms River East 2

Senior Ashley Palmieri went 2 for 3 and scored 2 runs to lead the Panthers past the Raiders. Freshman Danielle Maiorana was 1 for 2 with an RBI single and a walk. Senior Dakota Palmieri hit an RBI single.

No. 1 Donovan Catholic 8, Jackson Memorial 1

The Griffins smacked 4 home runs and held the Jaguars to 5 hits as they remained perfect on the season through 14 games. Junior Jaelynn Nunez went 3 for 3 with 2 solo home runs and a walk. Sophomore Isabella Cino crushed a grand slam. Senior Christina Ginex was 2 for 3 with a home run and a single. Senior Olivia Kurth also hit an RBI single. Senior pitcher Sophia Senger earned the win after striking out 2 batters and allowing just 2 hits in 3 innings on the mound.

 

Class B South

Wall 15, Howell 4

Senior Emily Gill went 3 for 5 with a double and 4 RBIs to lead the Crimson Knights past the Rebels. Gill also struck out 4 batters and allowed 4 hits, 2 walks, and just 2 earned runs on the mound. Senior Molly Stopera hit a 2 RBI single. Freshman Mackenzie Williams went 2 for 4 with a double, a walk, and scored 3 runs.

No. 6 Pinelands 11, Toms River North 5

Senior Hannah Theuret went 2 for 5 with a home run and 3 RBIs to lead the Wildcats past the Mariners. Senior Elianna Meola was 2 for 5 with a double and 3 RBIs. Sophomore Cassie Gould finished 2 for 4 with an RBI and a walk.

New Egypt 2, Manasquan 1

New Egypt scored the game winning in the top of the 7th to improve to 10-6 on the season. Olivia Stillwell had a hit, run scored and drove in a run for the Warriors and Katelyn Thomas scored the other run and drew three walks. Jackie Bowen only allowed four hits in the victory.

Danni Forrester went 2-for-2 with a home run and double for Manasquan.

 

Class C South

Lacey 9, Manchester 8

The Lions won a high scoring affair against the Hawks behind 13 singles and 2 walks. Freshman Sophia Capone went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs. Senior Madison Feldman had a 2 RBI single. Junior Chloe Emmons had a 2 RBI single.

Barnegat 11, Point Beach 0

Sophomore pitcher Gianna Gomez struck out 9 batters and allowed just 1 hit and 1 walk as the Bengals (14-3, 8-1) cruised past the Garnet Gulls (3-11, 1-8). Freshman Amilianna Roach crushed a 3-run home run. Junior Jadeyn Bodziak went 2 for 4 with a triple and 3 RBIs. Junior Riley Schmidt was 3 for 4 with an RBI.

Brick Memorial 8, Toms River South 6

Sophomore Carly Hobbs went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, a walk, and 4 RBIs to lift the Mustangs in a win over the Indians. Senior Giselle Lizardi hit a 2 RBI single. Sophomore Avery Nalducci went 2 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 RBIs.

 

Coastal

Trinity Hall 3, Red Bank 2

Sophomore pitcher Emma Mullins struck out 11 batters and allowed 6 hits, 3 walks, and just 2 runs in the win for the Monarchs. Freshman Brooke Werdann went 2 for 3 with a double and scored a run.

 

Nondivisional

Ocean 9, Freehold Boro 6

Holmdel 11, Manalapan 5

Henry Hudson 7, South Amboy 1

Junior Aurora O’Neill went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs to lead the Admirals past South Amboy. Senior pitcher Shealyn Higgins struck out 3 batters and allowed 2 hits, 4 walks, and 0 earned runs in 4 inning to earn the win. Freshman Lucia Fariello hit a 2 RBI single.
