Freshman Danica Rekus went 1 for 3 with a walk and 4 RBIs as the Hawks (5-10) defeated the Piners (0-17). Junior pitcher Gabriella Minneci struck out 4 batters and allowed 2 hits, a walk, and 1 earned run in 2.2 innings to earn the win.

Red Bank 6, Lacey 1

Colts Neck 4, Middletown South 1

In a tune-up before their SCT semifinal game, Colts Neck defeated Middletown South behind Samantha Sponder’s eight strikeouts. Gabriella Bryce, who was the hero in the SCT quarterfinal round, hit two home runs and drove in three runs for the Cougars.

Jackson Memorial 6, Marlboro 4

Howell 13, St. Rose 3 (5 Innings)

Howell scored runs in all four innings they hit to improve to 10-7 on the season. Six players had two RBIs with Keira Murphy going 1-for-1 with a double and four runs scored and Madyson Nagy scored all three times she walked. Lydia Ziegler did not allow an earned run and struck out three batters in the win.

Gianna Decina went 2-for-2 with a RBI and two stolen bases for St. Rose.

Sophomore Abigail Krill crushed a 2-run home run and senior pitcher Emily Evans struck out 11 batters and allowed 4 hits, 1 walk, and 2 earned runs as the Rams (12-7) defeated the Mustangs (4-15). Junior Emily Zellman went 3 for 3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, and 2 runs. Evans went 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI.
