April 13-19
Madison Adam, Jr., New Egypt
The Warriors’ offense has run through Adam so far this season as they remain unbeaten on the season after a 2-0 week. She scored 7 goals and 2 assists in an 11-8 win over Ranney before scoring 9 goals and 1 assist in a 10-5 win over Monmouth.
Kaelyn Dunbar, Sr., Jackson Memorial
Dunbar was outstanding in the net in both of the Jaguars’ games this past week. She saved 10 shots in a 6-2 loss to Colts Neck before following that up with a 6 save game in a win against Middletown North in which she only allowed 1 goal.
Elizabeth Grausso, So., Manchester
Grausso was strong in goal as the Hawks finished 3-0 on the week with wins over Monmouth, Ranney, and Jackson Liberty. She saved 12 shots in a 12-7 win over Monmouth before stopping 8 shots in a 13-6 win over Ranney followed by saving 3 shots in a 7-3 win over Jackson Liberty.
Maddie Koehler, Jr., Donovan Catholic
Koehler nearly willed the Griffins to victory in two one-goal losses with spectacular play including a 12 goal and 2 assist performance in a 22-21 nail-biting loss to Brick where she also won 13 draw controls. She followed that up with 6 goals and 1 assist in a 14-13 heartbreaking loss to Monmouth.
Mia Milkowski, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven
Milkowski scored a team-high 4 points in No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven’s 12-7 win over No. 2 Trinity Hall with 3 goals and 1 assist. She followed that up with a 5 goal performance against South Jersey power Haddonfield.
Gianna Neron, Jr., Freehold Township
Neron scored a goal in the Patriots’ 7-5 win against St. John Vianney before erupting for a career-high 6 goals in addition to recovering 3 ground balls and winning 3 draw controls in a win over district rival Howell. Neron’s 6 goals doubled her previous career-high of 3 from her sophomore season.
Gabby O’Brien, Sr., Shore
O’Brien tallied a combined 14 goals, 9 assists, 12 ground balls, 19 draw controls, and 8 forced turnovers this past week as Shore went a perfect 4-0 against RBC, Princeton, Holmdel, and Hillsborough.
Zoey Smith, Sr., Lacey
Smith exploded for 17 goals and 8 assists over the course of 3 games for the Lions. She scored 7 goals and 4 assists in a win over Colts Neck. She followed that up with 3 goals in a loss to Barnegat then finished the week with another 7 goal and 4 assist performance in a win against Toms River North.
Ella Tortorici, So., Barnegat
Tortorici is nominated for a second straight week after leading Barnegat to 2 wins over Wall and Lacey. She scored 4 goals, recovered 4 ground balls, won 7 draw controls, and forced 2 turnovers in a 13-12 victory over Wall before scoring 3 goals, distributing 1 assist, recovering 2 ground balls, and winning 4 draw controls in a 14-7 win over Lacey.
Anna Weise, Sr., Middletown South
Weise was a force in the net for Middletown South this past week as she saved 19 shots and allowed just 11 combined goals in the Eagles’ 3 wins over No. 6 Southern, Toms River North, and Tappan Zee (NY).
