We’re back with the Week 3 NuVision Resolve Shore Conference Football Player of the Week poll where we post nominees for the Shore Conference offensive, defensive and special teams Players of the Week and give readers the chance to choose who should take home the award based on their performance in the previous week’s games.
Shore Sports Insider will also select its own offensive, defensive and special teams Players of the Week for each of the Shore Conference’s seven divisions.
Read through each player’s accomplishments for the week and cast your votes. This week’s poll will close on Wednesday at noon.

OFFENSE
Nnaemeka Amaechina, Sr., WR, Central
Amaechine caught two passes for 77 yards and a touchdown and made 10 tackles with one tackle for loss on defense in the 4-0 Golden Eagles’ 14-7 win over rival Lacey.
Jordan Angstreich, Sr., WR, Rumson-Fair Haven
Angstreich set career-highs with eight receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the No. 2 Bulldogs’ 35-0 win over Long Branch.
Liam Brosnan, Sr., RB, Point Beach
Brosnan ran for 92 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries as the Garnet Gulls came off their bye week with a 24-13 win over Keansburg.
Jack Cannon, Jr., QB, Holmdel
Cannon’s fantastic season continued in the No. 10 Hornets’ 41-0 win over Manasquan when he completed 12 of 14 passes for 209 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Nick Cardone, Sr., QB, Freehold Township
Cardone completed 23 of 39 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns to become the Patriots’ all-time leading passer (4,453 yards) and help lead Freehold Township to a dramatic 24-22 victory over Red Bank. Cardone led the drive that resulted in James Russo’s controversial 22-yard field goal as time expired.
Tony Credle, Sr., WR, Wall
Credle’s 58-yard touchdown reception where he turned a quick pass into a go-ahead score put No. 7 Wall up 29-26 in their eventual 36-26 win over No. 6 St. John Vianney.
Mordecai Ford, Sr., RB, Toms River North
Ford ran for 97 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries and had a 19-yard touchdown reception in the No. 1 Mariners’ 35-6 win over then-No. 4 Brick Memorial.
Marquis Goins Jr., Sr., WR, Manchester
Goins caught three passes for 122 yards and hauled in a 67-yard touchdown to help the Hawks rally for a 15-9 win over Jackson Liberty. Goins also had an interception on defense.
Anthony Hammel, Sr., TE, Manalapan
Hammel caught two passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns in the No. 12 Braves’ 27-0 win over Raritan.
Jake Henehan, Sr., Toms River South
Henehan ran for 176 yards and three touchdowns to power the Indians to a 27-21 win over longtime rival Brick.
Ty Kline, Sr., QB, Pinelands
The Wildcats picked up their first win of the season with a 42-16 victory over Lakewood and Kline helped lead the way by completing 12 of 18 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
Colin Palumbo, Sr., RB, Matawan
Palumbo erupted for 237 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 25 carries to power the Huskies to a 35-21 victory over Freehold that gave head coach Matt Walsh his first career win.
Dylan Reitmeyer, Sr., FB, Point Boro
Reitmeyer rumbled for a career-high 152 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 24 carries to help lead the No. 5 Panthers to a 34-24 win over No. 8 Jackson Memorial.
Myquan Rush-Esdaile, Sr., RB, Barnegat
Rush-Esdaile ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns on just 10 carries when the Bengals ran for a school-record 433 yards on 39 attempts in a 42-6 victory over Monmouth Regional.
Adbul Turay, So., RB, St. John Vianney
Turay ran for 203 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries in the Lancers’ 36-26 loss to Wall.
Shane Volante, Sr., RB, Middletown North
Volante ran for a career-high 161 yards and scored two touchdowns on 20 carries when the Lions improved to 3-0 with a 24-7 win over Ocean.
Johnny Williams, Jr., WR, Red Bank Catholic
Williams caught a 50-yard touchdown pass and ran for a 6-yard touchdown in the No. 3 Caseys’ 41-7 win over Colts Neck.
Evan Wyrsch, Sr., RB, Southern
Wyrsh exploded for a career-high 156 yards rushing and a touchdown on an average of 22.3 yards per carry in the Rams’ 42-0 win over Toms River East to improve to 4-0.
Eric Zebrowski, Sr., WR, Jackson Memorial
With standout running back Jonah Glenn out with an injury, Zebrowski stepped up with career-highs of six catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the No. 8 Jaguars’ 34-24 loss to No. 5 Point Boro.
DEFENSE
Blaise Boland, Sr., LB, Toms River North
Boland was a force of nature in the top-ranked Mariners’ 35-6 win over then-No. 4 Brick Memorial with 13 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 5 tackles for loss. Toms River North allowed just 136 yards to a Mustangs’ offense that entered the week averaging 34.3 points per game.
Lou DiBiase, Sr., DL, Point Boro
DiBiase was great in his season debut with eight tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss and 2 pass deflections to help lead the No. 5 Panthers to a 34-24 win over No. 8 Jackson Memorial.
Levi Foote, So., LB, Southern
Foote recovered two fumbles, including a 90-yard fumble return touchdown, and added a sack and a tackle for loss when the Rams recorded their third shutout and improved to 4-0 with a 42-0 win over Toms River East.
Stephen Griffin, Sr., DB, Barnegat
Griffin intercepted two passes and was in on four tackles in Barnegat’s 42-6 win over Monmouth Regional for its third straight win.
Aiden Healy, Sr., LB, New Egypt
Healy was a tackling machine in the Warriors’ 7-6 win over Neptune with a career-high 15 tackles, 12 of which were solo tackles, plus a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.
Dennis Healy, Sr., LB, Manalapan
The No. 12 Braves shut out Raritan, 27-0, and Healy led the way with a team-high 7 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 additional tackle for loss.
Eric Kobilnyk, Jr., LB, Pinelands
Pinelands became the first team to hold Lakewood quarterback Rahmel Anderson under 200 yards rushing and Kobilnyk was at the center of the Wildcats’ defensive performance with a game-high 12 tackles and three tackles for loss.
Patrick McGonnell, Sr., LB, Red Bank Catholic
McGonnell recorded 8 tackles, 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss in the No. 3 Caseys’ 41-7 win over Colts Neck.
Jake Minniear, Sr., LB, Freehold Township
Minniear recorded 10 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery in the Patriots’ 24-22 win over Red Bank.
Michael Murphy, Jr., LB, Middletown South
Murphy led a great defensive performance by the Eagles in their 3-0 loss to Marlboro with 10 tackles and two tackles for loss.
Jennaro Percodani, Jr., LB, Marlboro
Percodani recorded a team-high nine tackles with 1 sacks, 2 tackles for loss and 1 forced fumble to help lead the Mustangs to a 3-0 shutout victory over then-No. 11 Middletown South.
Avery Phillips, Sr., LB, Manchester
Phillips made his Manchester debut after sitting out the required three games after transferring from Toms River East and made an immediate impact with 8 tackles, 1 sack and 3 tackles for loss in the Hawks’ 15-9 comeback win over Jackson Liberty.
James Presti, Sr., DB, Rumson-Fair Haven
Presti secured his first career interception in the No. 2 Bulldogs’ 35-0 win over Long Branch.
T.J. Rey, Sr., DB, Middletown North
Rey intercepted two passes in the Lions’ 24-7 win over Ocean to improve to 3-0.
Alex Reyes, Jr., LB, Holmdel
Reyes posted 6 tackles, 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss in No. 10 Holmdel’s 41-0 shutout victory over Manasquan.
Jerry Santiago, Sr., DL, Point Beach
Santiago had a night to remember in the Garnet Gulls’ 24-13 win over Keansburg. The senior defensive lineman recorded nine tackles with two sacks and two tackles for loss, recovered a fumble, forced a safety with one of his sacks and then returned an onside kick 30 yards for a touchdown.
Joe Vaccaro, Sr., LB, Wall
Vaccaro returned a fumble 90 yards for a touchdown with under a minute left in the fourth quarter to seal No. 7 Wall’s wild 36-26 win over No. 6 St. John Vianney.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Mason Adam, Sr., and Luke Davis, So., Wall
Adam returned a kickoff for a touchdown with the help of Davis in the Crimson Knights’ electric 36-26 win over St. John Vianney. Adam had the ball punched out at the 1-yard line after a 90-plus yard return but Davis was there to immediately pounce on the fumble and secure the touchdown.
Blake Caruso, Jr., K, Red Bank Catholic
Caruso had an outstanding game in the Caseys’ 41-7 win over Colts Neck by going 5-for-5 on extra points and kicking field goals of 44 and 43 yards, the two longest field goals in the Shore Conference this season.
Anthony Dringus, So., K, Barnegat
Dringus went 6-for-6 on extra points in Barnegat’s 42-6 win over Monmouth Regional.
Cole Garrison, So., Toms River North
Garrison returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown during the No. 1 Mariners’ 35-6 win over then-No. 4 Brick Memorial.
Jacob Haywood, Jr., K, Pinelands
Haywood went 6-for-6 on extra points in the Wildcats’ 42-16 win over Lakewood.
Max Luzio, Jr., K, Marlboro
Luzio’s 22-yard field goal with 7:33 left in regulation accounted for the game’s only points when the Mustangs knocked off then-No. 11 Middletown South, 3-0.
Joe Muzzillo, Sr., K, Jackson Memorial
Muzzillo has been one of the best special teams players of the year this season and continued his ways with a 32-yard field goal and a 2-for-2 night on extra points in the No. 8 Jaguars 34-24 loss to No. 5 Point Boro.
James Russo, Jr., K, Freehold Township
Russo connected on a 22-yard field goal as time expired to send the Patriots to a thrilling 24-22 victory over Red Bank.
Jack Viola, Jr., K, Middletown North
Viola kicked a 22-yard field goal and went 3-for-3 on extra points in the Lions’ 24-7 win over Ocean.
