Third Team All-Shore
Attack – Brady Kirk, Sr., Point Boro
Injuries limited Kirk to just eight of Point Boro’s 19 games, but the First Team All-Shore selection as a junior still managed to put up 52 points to close out his record-setting career. Kirk scored 35 goals and added 17 assists for 52 points, recording multiple points in all eight games and scoring at least four goals seven times. He is Point Boro’s all-time scoring leader with 172 goals and 143 assists for 315 points, putting him 9th all-time in Shore Conference history for career points. Kirk will continue his career at Marist College.
Attack – Reid Spallone, Jr., Shore
A Second Team All-American Division selection, Spallone produced career-highs in goals (38), assists (32), and points (70) to help the Blue Devils reach the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals and finish No. 4 in the SSI Top 10. Registered a career-high eight points in a win over Peddie and scored a career-high six goals versus Bridgewater-Raritan. Spallone will enter his senior season with 76 goals and 70 assists for 146 points.
Attack – Gerard Uzzolino, So., Toms River East
After a 56-point freshman season, Uzzolino exploded for 63 goals and 51 assists to finish tied for second in the Shore with 114 points, one point behind teammate Nick Caruso. A playmaker from X and a consistent finisher on the crease, Uzzolino helped the Raiders average 12.1 goals per game during the best season in program history. Toms River East went 15-5, won the Colonial Division title for the first time, and reached the South Group 3 sectional semifinals. Uzzolino had multiple points in 18 of 20 games and recorded three games of 10 or more points, including six goals and five assists in a win over Middletown North. He was a First Team All-Colonial Division selection by the SCLCA and will enter his junior season with 92 goals and 78 assists for 170 points.
Midfield – Nate Cummings, Sr., Toms River East
Cummings concluded a great four-year varsity tenure by scoring a career-high 92 points on 49 goals and 43 assists. He was one of three Raiders players to record 90 or more points on an offense that averaged 12.1 goals per game. Cummings posted 18 multi-point games and 15 multi-goal games. He tallied a season-best eight points four separate times, including in key wins over Barnegat and Manalapan en route to the division title. A First Team All-Colonial Division pick by the SCLCA, Cummings finished his career as Toms River East’s all-time leading scorer with 269 points on 146 goals and 123 assists. He also had 55 ground balls this season and 281 for his career. His play helped the Raiders author the best season in program history with their first division title, a 15-5 record, and an appearance in the South Group 3 sectional semifinals.
Midfield – Britt Lumsden, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven
Lumsden was a versatile asset for Rumson with his ability to play both midfield and attack. After seeing time as a junior, Lumsden enjoyed a 47-point senior season with 29 goals and 18 assists to help Rumson win the Shore Conference Tournament title for the 10th time in program history. He was a Second Team All-American Division selection by the SCLCA.
Midfield – Vincent Meehan, Sr., Howell
An all-situations midfielder who did a little bit of everything for the Rebels, Meehan scored 36 goals, added 26 assists, and picked up 60 ground balls. After missing most of his junior year with an injury, Meehan’s return to the field was a major reason Howell was able to bounce back from a rare losing season to go 14-5 and finish No. 10 in the SSI Top 10. He concluded his career with 59 goals and 44 assists for 103 points, plus 164 ground balls. Meehan will play collegiately at Division 2 powerhouse Lenoir-Rhyne.
Face-off specialist – Collin Markoski, Sr., Southern
Markoski was fifth in the Shore in face-off winning percentage at 69% and added four goals and seven assists for a Rams team that went 15-6, scored 11.2 goals per game, reached the South Group 4 sectional final, and finished No. 5 in the SSI Top 10.
SSDM — Hunter Kilpatrick, Sr., CBA
Kilpatrick was a standout defensive midfielder for a Colts team that allowed 6.8 goals per game. He added 29 ground balls, 1 goal, and 5 assists to help CBA reach the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals and finish No. 4 in the SSI Top 10. Kilpatrick will continue his career at Sacred Heart University.
Defense — Colin Finnegan, Sr., Howell
The Colonial Division Defensive Player of the Year, Finnegan’s presence was a major reason for Howell’s bounce-back season. After going 6-12 last year, the Rebels went 14-5, reached the South Group 4 sectional quarterfinals, and finished No. 10 in the SSI Top 10. Finnegan picked up 66 ground balls and added four goals and one assist. He finished his career with 223 ground balls. Finnegan will continue his career at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Defense — Jayden Nascimento, Jr., Donovan Catholic
Nascimento was a First Team All-Colonial Division selection by the SCLCA after a season in which he picked up 62 ground balls and scored two goals and two assists. He is committed to Rutgers University.
Defense — Michael Poskay, Sr., CBA
Poskay picked up 32 ground balls and added a goal and an assist to earn Second Team All-American Division honors by the SCLCA. His play helped CBA’s defense allow 6.8 goals per game as the Colts reached the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals and finished No. 3 in the SSI Top 10.
LSM — Mickey McGovern, Jr., Ocean
McGovern was selected as the Constitution Division Defensive Player of the Year by the SCLCA after a superb junior season. The versatile long pole picked up 66 ground balls, scored 16 goals, and added eight assists to finish third on the team in scoring. He is committed to the University of Detroit Mercy
Goalie – Connor Doel, Jr., Manalapan
Doel was a First Team All-Colonial Division selection after finishing third in the Shore with 261 saves and posting a 62.6% save percentage. He made double-digit saves in 19 of 22 games and yielded just 7.1 goals against per game. He made a season-high 17 saves twice in games versus Middletown South and St. Joseph (Metuchen). Doel will enter his senior year with a program-record 586 career saves. He is committed to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
