Junior Justin Togans scored a game-high 14 points to go with three assists and classmate Danny O’Neill posted 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead the Lancers (7-18) to a road win over the top-seeded Wildcats (15-8). St. John Vianney will travel to No. 5 Manalapan Thursday to face Class A Central division rival, with whom the Lancers split the regular-season series.
Junior Dan Lavan also added eight points and five rebounds for St. John Vianney. Juniors Chris Husni and Tyler Garcia each scored eight points to lead Pinelands.
(2) Toms River East 45, (7) St. Rose 40
Sophomore Brady Gillen carried the scoring effort with 24 points while also grabbing six rebounds to lead the Raiders (13-10) to a win over the Purple Roses (5-20) that sends them to the Coaches Cup semifinals on Thursday, when they will host third-seeded Red Bank.
Sophomore Tommy Intintola added 14 points and nine rebounds and classmate Carson Frazier helped him control the paint with 12 rebounds and three blocked shots. Senior Tyler Cameron scored 20 points and classmate O’Rien Campbell contributed 14 to lead St. Rose.
(3) Red Bank 78, (11) Middletown North 70
Junior Justin Valentino scored a team-high 19 points and racked up 10 assists to lead the Bucs (9-15) to a high-scoring win over the Lions (7-17) that sends them to Thursday’s Coaches Cup semifinal at Toms River East.
Junior Will Galligan poured in 16 points and nabbed three steals, senior Vin Niesz kicked in 15 points with three three-pointers, senior Josiah Johnson added 14 points, and sophomore Randy Peterson contributed eight points for Red Bank.
Senior Eddie Lopez and freshman Nick DiGiovanni each scored 22 points and junior Nate Tyburczy added 17 to lead Middletown North.
(5) Manalapan 65, (4) Toms River North 62
Senior Dean Aviles scored 23 of his game-high 27 points in the second half and 14 in the fourth quarter to lead a furious Manalapan comeback that carried the Braves (11-13) past the Mariners (8-16) and into the Coaches Cup semifinals, which they will host Thursday against eighth-seeded St. John Vianney.
Junior Joe Farino poured in 11 points and freshman Josh Sosinov chipped in nine for Manalapan, which trailed by 18 points at halftime and by 20 early in the third quarter before whittling the Toms River North lead down to seven by the end of the third quarter.
Seniors Bryce Kazanowsky andJayden Thomas each scored 13 points, while sophomore Jake Greenberg netted 12 to lead Toms River North. Junior Jackson Sias scored all eight of his points in the second quarter for the Mariners.

Holmdel 75, Point Boro 56
Senior Jack Vallillo pumped in a game-high 25 points — including the 1,000th of his high school career — and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Hornets (14-7) to a road win over the Panthers (15-9) in a tune-up game between two Shore Conference teams hoping to make a run in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II section.
Senior Dylan Zammit added 17 points and seven rebounds, senior Connor Paul chipped in 15 points and three assists and sophomore Anthony Serini netted 13 points for Holmdel. Senior Jack Cannon also dished out nine assists and grabbed six rebounds in the win to go with his three points.
Junior Hunter Hynes led Point Boro with 24 points , while senior Jovin Steinmetz added 13 and junior Landon Hoyle supplied 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in the loss.
