Manasquan 13, Hopewell Valley 5
Senior attackman Ryan Aldi delivered four goals and one assist, senior attackman Brandon Kunz tallied two goals and two assists, senior midfielder Matt Schneider recorded three goals and one assist, and senior defenseman Parker Harms and senior goalie Pat Loxley led a superb defensive effort as the Warriors defeated the Bulldogs to win the first state title in program history.
Harms also scored once, as did senior midfielders Kai Donahue and Kelly Mulligan and junior midfielder Lucas Longo. Loxley was tremendous in goal with double-digit saves.
Manasquan is just the second Shore Conference boys lacrosse program to win a state championship, joining Rumson-Fair Haven.
Manasquan lead 6-3 at halftime and then opened a 10-4 lead in the third quarter to pull away.
